Eridan lunged at karkat and grabbed him by the throat. Karkat who was still startled about this toed to scream for help but not a sound passed his lips Eridan then threw him off the building and heard the faint splat as karkat's now dead body lay lip on the ground. Eridan knowin he had to cover it up and desided to leave a note supposedly by karkat claiming he wished to end his life he ran down the stairs with crocodile tears streaming down his face towards the crowd of people swarming around karkats corpse he ran directly into a reporter.
"It's horrible! I saww him standin on top of the buildin and-and I tried to stop him but...I was to late...." The other students where shocked to hear this and ended up crying more over their friends 'suicide'.
Sollux had been on the way home when this happened he went inside his house and set his stuff down and turn on the TV A reporter went on about a suicide that took place as he dug through his closet for something to wear, then he heard a familiar voice Eridan was on the report! Why is Eridan on here and he realized that the death was a student at his school as he read the name 'Karkat Vantas' he felt guilty. He had known that Karkat had liked him a little bit more than just a friend. Sollux felt it was his fault that his friend decided to take his own life. In the middle of his mourning there was a knock on the door
"Come iin!" Sollux shouted Eridan opened the door his fake tears stained his face Sollux stood up ran to him and embraced him tightly Eridan smiled and hugged him back.
"Hey Sol?? Howw about wwe go on that date noww... it could take us out of this sadness." He suggested quietly Sollux jodded in agreement and they left. They went to see the new Star Wars movie and then walked across the street to a little diner. A girl with long dark hair redish-brown eyes and a slightly plump figure approached the couple.
"Hi my name is Aradia I will be y0ur waitress for t0da- 0mg S0llux is that y0u?" She said shocked Sollux looked up from the ground and smiled
"AA! Iit's been forever!" He said cheerfully hugging her she hugged back happily. Eridan twitched in annoyance. My my is someone else getting in my way? It appears you will have to disappear...WHAT A SHAME. Eridan smiled to himself and followed behind the 2 friends.
