Hi there readers! It's me, Beijing_Aru with another fanfic for you all! If you could not tell by the summary, this book picks up right where season 1 of the anime left off. I have read the manga so there may be a few spoilers for the manga or I might reference something that only happens in the manga and not in the anime by accident. I will try my best to not include any manga only things so people who only watched the anime can enjoy this just as much as the people who read the manga. The only thing that I will put in this story that is included in the manga but not in the anime is Zeno's power and age, if you want to know what it is, please search it up on the Internet.  But enough with the formalities, on with the story!

Yona's POV
"You stupid priest!  How could you leave something so important out of the prophecy?!" Yun fumes at Ik-Soo. Right when we were about to leave his house and continue on our journey to fix the kingdom of Kouka, Ik-Soo tells us that there are two more warriors that we must attain to aid us in our journey.
"Eh....  Sorry" Ik-Soo says casually while scratching the back of his head
"Priest, please tell us who these warriors are and how to find them" Kija asks.  Ik-Soo sits down calmly on a stump and presses the palms of his hands together

"The story of the Yin and Yang warriors is long forgotten by many. Their story starts long after the legend of the 4 dragons has ended, now their existence is nothing more than a myth in the minds of most.  There were two maidens, each served the king in the best way they knew how.  The first maiden, Yin, was the personal body guard for the king, while the other maiden, Yang, was the royal adviser.  They were good friends but total opposites, Yin preferred the shadows while Yang fancied the light.  It was on the darkest day of the kingdom did they realize how different they were. It was winter and Kouka was in ruins, the cold was causing illness and there was a band of assassins killing off government officials.  The king was in a state of melancholy so, Yin and Yang was left to manage the kingdom.  They had very different views on how to handle the situation and what to put as the top priority. Yin thought that the assassins should be dealt with first while Yang proposed that the illness, snow, and frost should be abolished first. Unable to reach an agreement, the two went their separate ways and tried to fix the problems on their own.
Yang ran from village to village, giving each one a supply of food, water, medicine, and blankets. After leaving each village, she felt lighter knowing that she was helping. And soon, she helped each and every one of the villages. She was returning to the palace with the good news when she encountered a larger-than-life, white tiger on a snowy plane. Before she could retaliate, the tiger spoke to her.
'You have done much good for the kingdom' it spoke to her, 'as a reward for all your work, I will grant you a mythical power.' And in Yang's hands materialized a golden chalice filled with a white liquid and a dot of black in the center. After some hesitation, she drank the potion and she was granted the sight, agility, and reflexes of a tiger.
Yin encountered a similar scenario. After arguing with Yang she fled to the mountains, a region that was rumored to shield the mysterious killers. It was not long before she found and killed them all. She hurried down from the mountains and ran to a nearby village on the way back to the palace. But, as soon as the villagers saw her, disheveled and covered in dried blood, they ran and screamed. Distraught, Yin left to the forest, pondering whether what she did was right. There, she met a large, black snake, it told her,
'Child, while your deed may be dark your intentions were pure. For that, a power I will grant you.' And so, a chalice formed in Yin's hands, within it was a potion as black as night with a small dot of white in the center. She too drank the potion and she was granted the poisonous claws and flexibility of a snake." Ik-Soo lets out a sigh as if he has finished his tale

"So where would we find these two maidens?" I ask as I tap my chin
Ik-Soo smiles a sad little smile, "Yona, their tale does not end there. But the ending is not that of a happy one. After they received their powers Yang soon found that her deeds did almost nothing to help, so she ran away and established a small village. While Yin ran away to live by herself and she became known as a killer. To answer your question, the descendent of Yin is said to live in mountains that border the Xing empire while Yang's descendent is said to live at the gulf near the Sei border."

Yun pulls out a map of the Kingdom of Kouka

"The mountains where the descendent of Yin lives seem to be closer" Yun informs us

"The mountains where the descendent of Yin lives seem to be closer" Yun informs us.
"So I guess that's it then" Jea-ha says, "That is our next destination"
"Zeno's hungry" Zeno whines
"You'll survive, you eternal 17-year-old" Yun grumbles as we gather our things to head out
