Babysitter I

"Nika come and find me" young Aubrey yelled.
"I'm coming!" Nicki screamed.

Onika or as people call her Nicki has been Aubrey's babysitter since he was born. Which means she has been his babysitter for 6 years. Nicki started babysitting Aubrey when she was 10 because her parents and Aubrey's parents have known each other forever and Aubrey's parents couldn't find a babysitter. Sandi and Dennis, Mr. And Mrs. Graham trust Nicki, since she has been the only babysitter Aubrey actually liked.

Right now Aubrey and Onika were playing hide and go seek.

Onika had to find Aubrey but he was the best at hide and go seek, as she has been looking for almost an hour.

"Aubrey just come out I can't find you, you win." Nicki said exhausted

"Nika I've been in the closet since we first started. Why didn't you look in there?" Aubrey laughed jumping out the closet.

"Oops guess I thought that would be to easy." Nicki ended up laughing right along with Aubrey.

"Come on lil man, let's go find your mommy." Nicki said picking little Aubrey up.

"Okay." Aubrey said laying his head down on her shoulder.

"MA!!!!!!!!!!" Nicki went all around the house yelling until she makes it up to the master bedroom and hears the shower running.

"Oh mommy's in the shower lil man" Nicki explained to Aubrey and looked down at him to see him snoring on her.

"I knew he was going to be tired" Nicki thought in her head.

Nicki goes to lay down Aubrey after she lays him down she covers him up and gives him a kiss on the cheek and he cuddles right up to his teddy bear, Nicki had won for him while they were at the fair one day as a family outing. Nicki walks out the room, goes back down the stairs and into the kitchen to make lunch for everyone.

30 minutes later

Dennis and Sandi come downstairs because they remembered that they have to go back in to work. (They are the bosses at where they work, which is Graham Enterprise and they are both lawyers).

"Afternoon Onika" Dennis and Sandi say simultaneously.

"Afternoon Mr and Mrs Graham" Nicki responded.

"Onika sweetheart, we've told you many of times call us mom and dad" Sandi said with a warm smile.

"Oops sorry forgot" Nicki started chuckling.

"It's okay. How are your parents though?" Sandi asked while Dennis went and sat down at the table.

"Their good, just one thing they aren't coming down until they get Jelani, Ming & Micaich settled, they just got a new place and I'm nothing but happy." Nicki explained with sadness covering her face but somehow managed to keep a smile even if it was a sad smile.

"Aww sweetie it's okay you know they are coming down as soon as they can. Just keep your thoughts filled with them" Sandi said with her heart filled words.

"Sandi is right you know. Short stuff just stay postive and it'll pass by faster than you know" Dennis agreed and teased Nicki.

Nicki pouted, walked over to Dennis and playfully slapped him on his arm, "I told you I'm not, short I am just fun sized."

"Yea yea same thing sweety." Dennis exclaimed while laughing.

"Ugh Mama get your husband he's being so mean." Nicki pouted even more than before.

Sandi came over with the rag and slapped Dennis with it, "Leave our daughter alone Dennis, gesh you know she doesn't like being called that." Sandi cradled Nicki just how she cradles Aubrey and when Sandi wasn't looking Nicki stuck her tongue out at Dennis and he just laughed even more than he already was.

"Onika sweetie, where is Aubrey?" Sandi asked after not seeing him run around.

"Oh, about half an hour ago he fell asleep when we were looking for you two." Nicki answered back after Sandi and her released eachother.

"Oh, Dennis I told you they were calling us." Sandi frowned as she exclaimed to Dennis.

"Well honey we were sorta 'preoccupied', sorry for not thinking about short stuff and little boy brey." Dennis explained himself earning a slap to the head with Sandi's hand.

"DENNIS!!! STOP." Sandi whined exactly how Nicki would.

Dennis and Nicki were laughing so hard both of them had tears in their eyes. Nicki continued to laugh and then stood up.

"Ma....You've been...around me..... too long." Nicki tried getting it out without laughing but that wasn't going to work.

"You know what, I'm just going to the---" before Sandi can finish she gets cut off by the shortest person in the house (other than Nicki 😂😂)

"Mommy... I'm hungry." Aubrey exclaimed walking into the kitchen rubbing his eyes.

"Afternoon sweetie, how was your nap?" Sandi asked a still sleepy Aubrey after picking him up and smothering him with kisses.

"No kisses mommy, I want food." Aubrey whimpered since he hasn't eaten since earlier this morning.

"Aww little boy brey thinks he is a big boy now right?" Dennis said then started laughing.

"Dennis don't start with my baby." Sandi cuddled Aubrey closer than he already was.

"Mommy stop, I want Nika." Aubrey whined reaching out for Onika.

"Aww come here buddy." Nicki reached out the rest of the way and grabbed Aubrey from his mother.

Nicki and Aubrey went in the kitchen and Nicki sat Aubrey on the counter and pulled out all the stuff she needed to make a sandwich.

"What you want on your sandwich breybear?" Nicki asked walking back over to Aubrey and standing in front of him.

"Turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cheese please." Aubrey smiled sweetly looking up at Nicki.

"Of course little man." Nicki said going to grab all the things he listed.

Meanwhile...

Sandi went into the living room and trailing right behind was Dennis. Sandi turned on the tv and when she was trying to sit down she had finally noticed Dennis was in her spot so she plopped down in his lap.

"Dennis, why did you follow me?" Sandi questioned.

"Because I lovee my wife." Dennis stated the obvious.

"Dennis." Sandi demanded.

"Okay, well I was thinking we talk to Nicki's parents and fly them in and they stay with us since she misses them so much. We just don't tell her until they come." Dennis stated his idea to his beautiful wife.

"That's a great idea baby, I think we totally should and anyway springbreak is coming up so we should talk to them soon." Sandi explained.

"Yeah, your welcome for my geniusness." Dennis exclaimed popping his imaginary collar.

"Yeah Yeah whatever." Sandi playful rolled her eyes.
