"... Long story short, I never saw him again," Raven finished. She and her human partner, Natalie, were in their little makeshift base, which was an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of a town somewhere in Northern California. She had been telling her about Cybertron, the war, and her sire.

Raven is a black and teal, Autobot femme who landed on Earth pretty much long before any other Cybertronian. In fact, she didn't even know there were any others - bots or cons - on Earth, though she did have a sneaking suspicion that she wasn't alone. But, for the longest time, It had been just her and Natalie. Speaking of Natalie, she is a young adult, around her twenties, and she had dirty blonde hair, light green eyes, and freckles. She met Raven when she was a teen and the two had been as close as sisters ever since.

"Wow, that's... that's tragic," Natalie commented.

"I know, that's just how war is," She replied. There was long silence before Natalie spoke up again.

"What about... your mom?" She hesitantly asked. Raven cringed at the all-too-vivid memory.

"That would be a story for another day. I need to start energon scouting, our supply is getting low." She replied, quickly changing the subject. Natalie sighed, "Things would be easier if we had a ground bridge or something."

"It'll be ok, I'm sure we could figure something out," She replied.

To Raven, being a rogue was both a blessing and a curse.

Back at the Autobot's base, Miko had some serious mischief up her sleeve. Jack had dared her to go snooping around in Optimus's quarters. Of course, he never thought she would actually do it, but being her usual stubborn self, she agreed.

She carefully snuck down the hall. When she got there, however, there was a serious problem. The mechanism to unlock and open the door was almost twenty feet above her. "Scrap," she mumbled to herself. But, even if she could reach it, it was apparently made for Cybertronians only.

Then, she heard the sound of peds heading her way, and she quickly spotted a vent and pulled the grate off the wall. Miko climbed in  and replaced the grate (but had it loose enough so that she could slip back out easily) just as Optimus rounded the corner. He casually opened the door and walked inside, and just as the door was automatically closing, Miko slipped in. She quickly scanned the area and hid behind his berth.

"This shouldn't take too long," She quietly whispered to herself. She was utterly wrong. It wasn't until almost two hours later that Optimus finished doing whatever it was that he had been doing and left. The closing door jolted Miko awake. She looked around just to make sure. Empty. She wiped the drool off her arm and scrambled out of her hiding place.

Miko looked around, deciding to try his desk first. She made her way up the chair first. After that, she climbed up the rest of the way to top of the desk. It took a couple tries, but she finally jumped up just high enough to snag the edge of it. Last but not least, she hoisted herself up.

When she got up there and looked around, the first thing that caught her attention was a picture of him and two Autobots she never saw before.  She thought it was weird that he looked less Prime in this picture. The other two bots were femmes, and he one to the right of him was pink and white and about his age. The second one stood in the middle of the too, but she he was obviously a lot younger than Optimus and the other bot, and her color scheme was black and teal.

"Huh, never knew Optimus had a family, assuming that is his family," Miko said to herself after snapping a picture of it with her phone. Miko made her way down the desk and chair, and she was about to head to the door, but she realized that she can't get out through there. She looked around, but the only thing that looked remotely helpful was a vent on the opposite wall as the door.
