Chapter Twelve

Brookes P.O.V

"So you think there could be witches in there?"

"Maybe! There's another witch who knew Miss.Morrigan, and they used to talk a lot, Her name was Tabitha, I remember her smell."

"So you think you can smell her now?"

"Yes, it's a very familiar smell... should we have a look?"

"Yeah, We'll have a look, then we could tell her about Morrigan.."

Lupu shifted to human form and grabbed my hand. "Lets go!"

We walked over to a small house, I really hope Lupu is right...

As we approached the house I softly knocked on the door, I heard talking from inside.

"Someone's outside!"

"Is it an infected?!"

"I told you this area too dangerous to be in!"

"Shut up Rosita! Petunia, open the door please, my hands are full!"

The door suddenly opened, but no one was there, I slowly walked in, looking around.

A girl poked her head around the corner, she had long blue hair and was wearing a witches hat, I thought witches didn't really wear those...

"Hello!"

She rushed over to me, Smiling brightly,  smiled awkwardly back." Hey... Is your name Tabith-"

"Tabitha! someone's here for you!"

I woman walked around the corner, a hood covered her face, she pulled it down and smiled. "Hello?"

"Your Tabitha? "

"Yes?"

"Uh, well... I know this is sudden, but we kind of need your help."

"Who's we? you and your little bro- Lupu?!"

She seemed surprised, She looked up at me. "Where's his um... owner?"

"Morrigan? well..."

Her face dropped "Don't tell me she's.."

"Someone named Shasta-"

"Shasta?! I'm going to kill her! Where is she?!"

"I-I don't know! she just walked into the building, killed her, then left..."

I noticed another girl turn the corner. "Morrigans dead?"

Tabitha quickly turned. "Yes, Shasta found her!"

"How are her wolves alive then?"

I stood there as all three started talking.

"Maybe someone healed them before they disappeared."

"Or maybe the girl is lying, do you think Morrigan could get killed by that demon, really?"

"Guys?"

"I wouldn't know! Maybe Morrigan was weak or something when she was killed?"

"I bet she could have gotten away easily, especially with Fenris by her side."

"Guys?!"

"Fenris? oh come on, I can see evil in that wolves eyes, I bet he brought Shasta to her!"

"She would know if he was evil! she created him-"

"Guys!!"

"What Petunia?!"

"Maybe Orias was there as well?"
