baby steps

Dinahs pov

I chased after camila following her into the bathroom. "Babe? You in here?" I called out, poking my head into the bathrooms.

I heard quiet sobs, i walked over to see a crying camila on the floor. I rushed over to her and placed her on my lap rocking her and humming something random.

I rocked her until she stopped crying. She looked up at me and kisse my cheek. "I love you so much." She said kissing my other cheek.

"I love you to mila, and i never will stop loving you either." I whispered pecking a small kiss on her nose. "I know it hurts, she doesnt remeber me either we just have to give her space, baby steps." I said grinning

"Oh ok." Camila said giggling at the end. She stood up and helped me up as well. We walked back into Lilly's room and saw her sleeping on Laurens chest.

My heart broke knowing that it should have been me holding my baby, now she wont even look at me.

Camilas pov

I sat on a chair next to lauren and lilly. I kissed her temple, both were so beautiful. I thought for a bit before walking outside and sitting on the steps outside the hospital.

I thought about me and lauren, then me and dinah. I was so confused my head says dinah but my heart says lauren.

I dont want to hurt either, I love them both.
I dwelled on that thought a little longer before i heard the door open. "I was worried about you." Dinah said wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Sorry." I said with no emotion. "You ok?" Dianh said concern clearly in her voice. Yeah." I said still no emotion "are you lying?." Dianh asked. "Yeah." I said staring at the blue sky with pink streaks through it.

"Whats on your mind?" Dinah asked obviously knowing what it was, but at the same time she had no clue.

"Lilly." I lied it was her and lauren. "Oh." She said disappointment on her face. "What?" I asked " I thought it was about Lauren." She admitted.

I was shocked that she knew. "What do you mean?" I said confused. "I know you are upset at lauren for stealing your baby.

I was happy that was not it. "Yeah. Actualy it is" i lied again. "Well lets go inside." I said quickly changing the subject.

When we got inside lauren was up and so was lilly. "Hey guys, how you feeling baby girl. Lilly looked at me confused. She buried her head in Lauren's kneck. I felt my face go cold. My heart couldnt take it anymore but i had to.

Dinah grabbed my chin and pecked my lips.
We went to get food and ended up just getting pizza for us. We spent time together and we talked about lilly and a possible future.

I miss lilly but im glad i have you woth me right now to help me. I said taking a bite of my pizza. Me to mila. Dinah said sipping a coke and kissing my temple.
