Ch 16 Kill Them All

Riley POV

I'm chillin at tha crib when my phone start buzzin

Ringgg riiinggggg ringgggg

"Yo"
"Aye baby"
"Wassup baby girl."
"Nothin jus watchin ova Nala."
"Mhm. She say anything yet?" I ask flippin through some movie channels, while pressing the phone to my ear.
"Psh nah. Poor baby. Somethin real bad musta happened."
"Yeah, she needs to tell us. I mean we can't do nothin until she speak up. Anyway, come ova when Caesre gets back ova there."
"Shit, I live there rememba?"
I grin
"Oh right. I forgot ."
"Uh-huh."
I chuckle
"I'm jus playin wit cha."
"Whateva nigga. Later."
"Peace."
I hang up the phone
The doorbell rings.
"Boy! Someone at tha doh!" I hear Granddad shout from his room.
I grunt
"Ol' ass man...can't get up ya damn self." I mumble quietly as I open the door.
I chuckle.
Damn, well look what we have here.
"Yo Reezy! Was good lil homie?"
"Yo was good Ed?"
Ed had been kicked out of WoodCrest by his Grandpa for tearin up one of his brand new cars or whateva.
Point blank, I ain't seen the nigga in two years.
Rummy neither.
"Where yo homeboy, Rummy at?" I ask folding my arms across my chest, leaning against the door frame.
"He waitin in the car, les bounce Reezy. We gots sum work to do." He ordered, walkin away.
I follow him as I close tha door behind me.
"What kinda work we talkin Ed?" I ask hoppin in the back seat of a nice lookin Prius.
"Aye lil homie!" Rummy said pushing me back playfully
"Aye was good nigga? Nice ride." I grin, patting the plump seats around me.
"Oh yea, it ain't no thang. We gots a stripper pole too." Ed boasted, pressing a red button on the dashboard.
The ceiling of the car folded back making room for the steel pole rising from the middle console between them.
"Yea yea! That's so gangsta!!" I shout seeing the stripper pole above my head.
"Man put that thang away, we gots some work to do."
Ed again presses the red button and the pole disappears into the middle console and the ceiling reappeared above them.
I chuckle
"Man, we gone get all da hoes!"
Ed turns to me
"Later nigga later. We busy fo the time being." He huffed.
"Man...what we talkin Ed? Robbin a bank?"
"Nah, not none of that pussy ass elementary type shit. We finally gon' do it nigga....we gon kidnap that bitch Oprah! If it's the last thing we do."
I shake my head
"Sum thangs neva change."

Caesre POV

"Cindy! I'm here!" I shout bringing groceries to my apartment.
I hear footsteps emanating from my room as I see Cindy hurry pass me.
"Aight! Later! Tell me if she say sumthin! I'm out!"
"Alright, thanks-" I begin to say, but she was gone before I could finish.
I shake my head and smile as I unload the groceries.
Nala has been here since the accident.
Her parents are on their way from their vacation and should arrive in a couple days.
She still hasn't spoken...she won't even let me touch her.
It's been hard.
I have to stay strong though, I can't be weak now.
Not when she needs me the most.
I finish unloading and I head to my room, where she is snugged under the covers.

"Nala...baby you want something to eat?" I ask quietly
She is facing away from me so I couldn't see her face.
"Alright then." I surrender, as I walk over to her.
She was awake staring to the wall.
I squat down by the bed and let my eyes examine her expression.

Blank.

"Baby...please say somethin." I beg looking into her, but she still just gazed unto the wall.

She was unfazed by my plea.

"Baby...please..." I start to cry silently.
I sniffle as I look to her.
Tears started rolling down her cheeks but
She didn't bother to wipe them off.
I take a deep breath.
"Do you know how hard it has been for me since I found you....that way?" I ask looking down at the carpet.
My chest starts heaving.
"Every time I close my eyes...I see you dying in my arms." I hiccup, trying to fight the tears.
I look to Nala again, who kept her wet blank face.
I sigh and take another hard breath.
"Baby...remember when the police were questioning me about my fight with Zack?" I ask scooting closer to her.
"A-And you kept defending me. Saying that Zack pushed me first, even though it was a lie. " I smile a bit.
I lick my dry lips and continue.
"A-And they believed it."

I see her cry some more.

"I was so mad at you afterwards for lying. I was scared they were going to find out the truth and you could get in a lot of trouble. And you said..." I sniffled as I cleared my throat, ready to repeat what she told me that day.

" 'Baby, I don't give a damn about the police. Don't you understand that I love you and I would do anything for you? We are in this together. You and me. There is no you without me and there is no-"

"Me without you." She whispered hoarsely.
I shoot my eyes to her and she gazed into me.
My heart stopped.
"Baby?" I ask inching closer to her.
With red puffy eyes, she reached for my neck and pulled me into her.
Her body jerked and she began crying hysterically, leaving puddles on my shirt.  She wraps her legs around my waist just clenching onto me, sobbing.
I join her on the bed as she cried holding me tight. I caressed her as she had her breaking moment.
I'm...I'm just glad she is holding me.
After she was done crying a bit , she never let go of me, of course I was overjoyed.
"Caesre..." She said dryly
"Hm?" I asked kissing her forehead.
"I-I was raped."

I...I couldn't breathe.
I couldn't comprehend the word that just escaped her lips.
I let go of her and looked into her eyes.
"You won't leave me right?" She cried, making a strained face.
"Baby I won't ever leave you."
She continued sobbing and grasped onto me. I just held her as she cried yet again.

"There were so many Caesre! I couldn't! I just couldn't....I couldn't fight them." She bawled, holding me tighter.

Tears flooded my eyes as I think of her being taken by several men.
My heart aches at the thought and tears pour.
"You are safe now...I won't hurt you." I say kissing her wet cheek.
.....she lost her virginity to....monsters.
She was used
Abused
Hurt
Violated
Beaten
Broken
By....monsters
And I am going to kill them.
