Chapter 4: My First Love
- Alexandria Brooke Snow's P.O.V. -
"Alexandria?" Max called out.
"Hmmm?" I mumbled, still staring at the sunset. After a few seconds of silence, with no reply, I turned my head and looked at him. "Max?" I asked. "What is it?"
"Well.." he mumbled nervously, "Can I ask you something?" he asked, sounding doubtful.
"Sure." I smiled. "What is it?"
"Well.." he cleared his throat, "Are you da-" he suddenly stopped midway. Just as I was about to ask him if he could repeat what he just said, he turned his head around and automatically, I turned my head too.
My heart suddenly stopped for a second as I laid my eyes on him.
"I'm not disturbing anything..." he looked at me then to Max, "am I?" he asked with a playful smirk plastered on his face.
"No, no. Not at all." Max replied, bitterness trailing his voice.
"Are you guys together or something?" he asked looking at me then to Max.
"No!" I quickly denied.
"Alright, alright. I was just asking." he said, chuckling.
"So then, if that's the case.." he looked at me, making me gulp, "Come here and give me a kiss, Alex." he smirked, coming towards me. My eyes widen with what he just said, while Max's mouth hanged open.
He's still cocky as ever.
I stood up and walked over the log.
"In your dreams." I said playfully while pinching his left cheek.
"Come on. I know you missed me." he glared, while rubbing his left cheek.
"Aw, I know that's your way of saying how much you miss me." I teased.
"I'm sorry but I don't. And I am over you." he said as he turned his head and closed his eyes, adding a dramatic effect to his little act.
I laughed, then cleared my throat. "That's actually good to know, because I never even loved you in the first place." I replied, playing along with his silly little act.
"Liar! We both know the truth." he defended, crossing his arms.
"Oh, shut up. I was still a kid back then." I rolled my eyes while I held back a smile.
"But I'll always be your first love." he proudly stated with a smirk on his lips.
"Sure you are." I chuckled.
Nate Christian McKnight. He is Xavier's younger brother. He's about 5'8 foot tall. He has black raven hair, and pretty blue eyes.
Nate Christian McKnight, also known as my so-called first love. We were around just 10 back then so I don't know if you can call it first love or if it's just puppy love. Actually, he was only 9 years old while I was 10. People might say "What the actual fuck Alexandria? You dated a guy one year younger than you in that age?". Well, it was his fault. I blame him. He made the first move. Actually, all the moves. It was because of all the sweet little things he did for me. Those were the reason why I fell for him. I didn't even really noticed him that much back then. I mean, he did caught my attention a few times because of his gorgeous blue eyes, but nothing more than that. So then - one day he just randomly started talking to me, and called me his princess. Everyday after that, he started giving me flowers, sea shells, white rocks with notes written on them like 'You're pretty' or 'You look perfect' and etc. He would also bring me cupcakes that he designed himself, (but not made by him) it was all really messy writing and drawings, which I found cute and funny. But one thing that stood out was, since he calls me his princess, he bought me a gorgeous tiara with diamonds. Legit real diamonds. When I found out that it was real, I gave it back to him, and he cried. I ran after him, and on the way, I bumped into his mom, then she asked me what happened, so I told her, then she told me that he actually saved up and used his own money to buy it, which I found really flattering, and I was really touched. Then the next day in the beach, he ran towards me, wearing a crown and a cape, and then he kneeled and proposed to me asking me to become his official princess (a.k.a. girlfriend), then I said yes and he brought out a box, and opened it. He got the tiara out and placed it on my head. And then when I gave him a kiss on the cheek, he ran away, flustered. Adorable, right?
