I fixed my hair as I grabbed my keys and ran out the door. I placed my book bag in the passenger seat of my car and drove off to school. Homecoming was around the corner and Dylan hasn't even asked me yet! Not that I really care or anything. But it's part of this is damn dare.

I fixed my shirt before I walked into the school and was greeted by Allison. She was wearing a a black dress with pink flowers on it. She had a jean jacket over it with her baize boot with a slight heel.

"Well don't you look beautiful," I smiled

"Well don't you look beautiful," I smiled.

"I guess. I'm just tired of the jeans," she laughed.

"I know how you feel by I didn't want to wear a dress," I smiled.

"You still look beautiful. Has Dylan asked you to homecoming yet?" She asked.

"You you really need to ask?" I asked while looking at her.

"Oh my lord," she sighed.

"Maybe he doesn't want to go," I shrugged.

"Whatever! Every guy secretly wants to go to homecoming," she laughed.

"I'll see you at lunch Allie," I laughed as I walked towards class.

I walked into class and Dylan was in there. I smiled as I sat down next to him. He looked up at me, partially smiled, and then looked back at his work.

"Hi?" I had a questioning tone in my voice.

"Hey," he said as he closed his book.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?" He asked while texting.

"You aren't acting the same. Correction, you haven't been acting the same since our date," I stated.

"I've just been busy," he spat.

"Okay. I obviously shouldn't haven't asked," I said as I grabbed my headphones.

"Cass-" I cut him off.

"No, you can't do that to me. You can't yell at me and then try to apologize when I get mad. That's not how this works," I said as I plugged in my headphones and started to blare my music.

I grabbed my salad and Ethan was behind me.

"How are you and Dylan?" He asked with a smirk.

"It's just a dare. No big deal. Not like anything is going on," I sighed.

"Don't worry, I think you'll be happy," he said as we walked outside.

My head hung down as we walked towards our table. When I looked up I gasped.
