I wash the dishes as my back slowly cramps up. My parents are slobs and abusers. I am not a daughter to them anymore. My drunken father rushes towards the kitchen. "Audy, can you go any faster?" He sneers. "You're slower than my dead mother!" "Don't talk to you mother like that!" I yelled back. My father rushes towards me. I impact a smack across the face. I fall to the floor. "Sierra, come in here! Your child just disrespect a adult!" My father yells at my mother. My mother rushes towards the kitchen with a anger look upon her face.

"I didn't!" I yelled to her. "Your husband has been treating me like a slave and you don't care! I am freaking tired of it!" My mother smacks me across the face. I fall to the floor. "Finish the damn dishes or no dinner for you, brat." Mother hisses and stomps out of the kitchen. My father kicks me then leaves.

I started to shake as I slowly crawl back up. I tried so hard to hold back my tears. Idiots. My parents are just foolish scuffs. Dad is a drunken father and mother is just a non-caring brute. They taught me a lesson how to stay strong due to their beatings and having a karma life.

I finish the dishes and went into the living room to be assigned my next job which I know is going to be punishment. My dad was sitting with a mug of his favorite drink alcohol. "Audy, the things you said back there was unforgiven and so disrespectful that we decide you need to earn some discipline." My father says. My parents should wait until the yearly Purge comes. It's not that far away. They can abuse me then, however they try to go over that stuff in their own way. My father stands up. "Turn around!" He commands a harsh tone. I immediately obey.

My father than yank back of my shirt collar. I was almost up in the air. I was nearly choking. He then dropped me onto the ground. "You feeling the pain of what you done to me?" He sneers. I shook my head. "You are going too overboard." I whispered back to him. My father grab my legs and started to drag me. Ouch. The friction of the carpet and wooden floors is going to give me burns. "Stop it, stop it, father, I beg you!" I've plead. "You're too much of a lazy ass. Time for a little lesson." He replies then laugh. Oh goodness, my dad is in his world of lala land. He opened the basement door. He bends over and grabs me under the shoulders. I threw a fit. I started to punch him regardless if he was in lala land or not. My father dropped me onto the third one down. He then slams the door locking it.

I slowly got up. I ran back up and pound at the door. "Let me out, let me out, let me out!" I screamed and cried. "You know what? I hate you too. At least, I don't cause violence to my haters!" I hissed. I slowly went done went down stairs. My basement is dusty and old.

Mold was upon the walls. Does my parents get money to refurnish this basement? It looks old. It's 2028.

I look around. The windows were ragged as well. Maybe that can be a escape root to escape this madhouse and the abusement. I am going to do that when my parents are asleep. Maybe they'll wake up and find themselves at the mental institution or better yet, in jail.

11:23 pm. I bet my parents are sleeping on their bed. Snoring and drooling. I lay down upon the cold hard floor. Gruuuuunnnntttt! I shot up awake to the sounds of the rattling pipes. I look towards a ragged window. "Time to escape this madhouse." I said to myself. I look around and found myself a crow bar. "If opening doesn't work, I'll smash it. I'll piss bolt when my parents chase me like the authorities." I said. I walk towards a window. I pointed the latches up. The window opened like a mini door. Wow, it so old when you open the latches, it immediately opens.

I use all my strength to get up and pass the window. I flash of purple covers my sight. Boom! A clap of thunder was heard. I groaned. "Damnit!" I grunted. "In the old part of town, there are abandon homes, maybe I can shelter there." I suggested.

I began to jog with my crow bar in my right hand. I stopped and turned back to look at my house. "During the Purge, be ready to be butchered." I hissed at it. I am going to get my revenge during the Purge. I started to jog once again. The rain was pouring down. I was soaked. Thunder was roaring and I was trying not to get struck by lightning because I am carrying a piece of conductor in my hand.

The old part of town was a factory area. New technology came in, they build advanced manufacturing, so many of these are closed down. I ain't going in one of them because they are probably contaminated from pollution. I started to jog again. Trying to found a house. A abandon house.

"Finally." I cried. I walk down the driveway of the abandon house. I turned the knob. It did opened. "Yes, thank goodness." I shut the door and lock it. I looked around. There was only a couch in front of me. I guess that can be my new bed. I walk towards it. I only wearing a sweatshirt and pants. I had to wear them until it dries or go wearing my bra and underpants. I don't want to embarrass myself. My parents already accomplish that. I collapsed upon the couch. It was cold. Luckily, comfy.

The thunder wasn't booming loud enough. The rain can be heard around the house. Lightning was my nightlight to see in the dark. I took a deep breath and drift off to sleep.
