Just Another Fan

Chapter 4

"I'm here!" Maggie yelled, slamming the door behind her.

"That's great, Maggie, I don't care," I said.

She rolled her eyes.
"Thanks little sis. Anyways, guess what! I'm going on a date tomorrow!"

"What?!" my dad and I said in unison. It actually wasn't that surprising. Maggie practically had a new date every week. It was so annoying! It's like she has no commitment to anything.

"We've barely been here!"

"I have my ways," she said, winking.

"Whatever," I scoffed.

It was getting late, so I decided to go to bed. As I was getting undressed, a piece of paper fell on the ground. The paper Niall gave me. I had forgotten about it until now. I unwrinkled it. I was right,
it was his number. I giggled and grabbed my phone.

M: Hey! It's Mallory from this afternoon.

I waited for him to respond. Maybe he was already went to bed. I waited a little longer and finally decided to go to sleep.

I was woken up by my phone ringing. I looked at the time, it was 2:00 a.m!

"Hello?" I said, my voice raspy from sleep.

"Hey, it's Niall,"

"Why are you calling at 2 am?!" I giggled.

"Oh, sorry, I wasn't looking at the time," he paused.

"Um, do you want to go for lunch tomorrow?" he asked. "There's a place a couple blocks down."

"Sure!" I said, excitedly.

"Great! I'll meet you in the lobby at 4,"

"Sounds good!"

"Oh, and sorry again for calling you so late," he laughed.

"It's fine. Oh, wait, did you mean 4 am or pm, Mr. Night Owl?" I joked.

"I meant 4 pm," he said in between laughs.

After we finally stopped laughing, I said, "Well, I better get back to bed. See you tomorrow!"

"See you then"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I hung up and jumped up and down like crazy.

I heard footsteps approaching and my door creaked open.

"What are you doing up at 2 am?!?!" Maggie asked, angrily.

"I have a date," I bragged.

"Wow! When was the last time that happened?!"

"Shut up!" I said rolling my eyes.

"Who are you going on a date with, anyway?" she asked.

"You don't need to know," I teased.
"Who are you going out with?"

"You don't need to know," she said, copying me.

"Oh come on! Just tell me! Fine, I'll tell you if you tell me," I suggested.

She smirked.
"Okay fine.......nope changed my mind"

Ugh! Why are sisters so annoying?!
