Just Another Fan

Chapter 5

Niall came down the staircase, he looked AMAZING!! Heck, he could look amazing wearing a trash bag.
His mouth was turned in a frown.

"Ready," he asked.

"Yep,"

We walked to "the place" without saying a word. We arrived at a fast food restaurant. Wow, how fancy.

After we got our food, we sat in silence.
I had finished my meal.
I wanted to tell Niall about the posters. I had lied to him and I shouldn't have.

"Niall?" I asked.

"What?" he said irritated. Why was he in such a bad mood?

"Um, remember those posters and stuff yesterday?"

"Yea, your sisters, I remember,"

"Well they are um actually mine. And I wanted to tell I just didn't want you to um....."

"Wait, so you lied to me?" he said, his voice aggravated.

"I didn't think you would be this mad abou-"

"I should have known, you're just another fan, Mallory,"

Just another fan?

I woke up breathing heavily and sweaty.
It had only been an hour since Niall had called.

I was a little bit hungry, so I decided to get something to eat.
I found a vending machine across the hall. I got a bag of Doritos and a Coke. Yes, I know I am the healthiest person in the world.
As I turned around, I bumped into someone and dropped my drink. He picked it up for me.

"Here you go," he said.

"Niall! What did I tell you? I said to go to sleep," I giggled.

"Oh yes sorry, mother. But you know I can't sleep on an empty stomach," he chuckled.

"Ok fine. But promise me you will go to bed after eating. I don't want you falling asleep in the middle of the day tomorrow,"

"Of course," he grinned. "See you tomorrow, Mallory!"

"See ya, Niall," I smiled and waved goodbye.

When I got back in bed and finished my food, I thought about my dream.
His words haunted me. Just another fan. Was I just another fan him? I couldn't imagine him being as rude to me as he was in my dream.
I wondered if he actually liked me or he was just being nice. Maybe all those years I was wrong about Niall. Or maybe I was right.

Maybe I didn't know Niall Horan.
