Chapter 8: Downtown

Azura and her new team teleported to the grungiest, dirtiest part of downtown Creation City. They transformed back into their normal clothes to not attract attention. The place was twice as busy as uptown. People where everywhere on the streets.
Ben seemed unsettled and quickly curled up into Azura's pocket. "Downtown freaks me out!" He shivered. He had been downtown on missions a lot, and knew every corner of the city. He liked some of the shops down here. And sometimes he and Azura would shop for hours and bring dozens of bags back to the headquarters. The only unsettling part of downtown was that most of their dangerous missions where always here.

The girls stuck together as they made their way to the Police station. Walking in calmy, they walked directly to the front desk and nodded.
"Welcome back girls, another mission I assume miss Shiriuki?" The Boy behind the desk asked Azura. He was young, couldn't be any older than 15. "Well then, the doors are unlocked, go right ahead."
Azura smiled, patting him on the head. "Thanks Vader, and by the way, you do know Tracy's on her way back and will kill you if she sees you at her desk.
"Pffffft!! I'm not afraid of her! I could take her down in a hot second if I wanted to!" Vader fronted, crossing his arms and grinning from ear to ear. He saw the frond door swing open as Tracy walked back in. He immediately jumped out of her seat and stood next to it before she could notice. "Welcome back Sheriff Tracy! Is there anything you want me to do?" He asked nervously.
Tracy just smiled, hugging Azura and ruffled Vader's hair. "Not this time. Just stay outta my desk next time." She looked out of the corner of her eyes at Vader, who looked pale, as she sat down and put her feet up. "Because next time I catch you, you know the consequences."
Vader nodded his head quickly. "I..I understand Ma'am!" He said, walking past Azura with a pout. "Shut up...don't say a word.." He walked the girls to the Mini CHIBI HQ beneath the station. "Just do what you usually do and I'll be upstairs hiding from ...her..." He said as he walked back to meet with Tracy.

The girls, and Ben, sat in front of the giant monitor and flicked on a map of the downtown area. "Well, might as well see who's in the area shall we?" Ben said, typing in the local bad guys around the area. Many names popped up, some of them they had dealt with before. "Hey, I know that guy! That's Chaox!!!?" Nella screamed, getting closer to the screen. Everyone knew Chaox, but no one ever knew he was a bad guy. Everyone just stood there in disbelief. "Before we, um, continue this...maybe we should just relax...?" Ben Stammered, turning off the monitor. Everyone nodded slowly and just sat in silence.
