Chapter 7: Crash And Burned.

Hanji's P.O.V

Jean and I are walking down the halls trying to get back to gym, and the horse keeps pestering me.

"Come on Hanji, why won't you tell me who you liked?!" whined Jean.

"Because he goes to this school."

"Was it Mike?"

"No."

"Levi?"

"Nope."

"Moblit?"

"No."

"WHO DID YOU LIKE?!"

"I'm not telling you horse face!"

"Can you tell me why the kids didn't like you in elementary school?"

"Psh, what reason did they have to like me? I was ugly, a weirdo, and stupid."

"WHO STOOD UP FOR YOU?!"

"I'll give you a hint, I will never be with him because he's way out of my league."

"Isn't that like...everyone?"

"Wow Jean, way to destroy someone's self-esteem."

"Tell me more about your life Hanji! I NEVER KNEW YOU HAD ANOTHER SIDE TO THE HAPPY, FANGIRL!"

"Sigh..Do you really want to know something?"

"Yes."

"Okay, well...I was once-" Suddenly I was interupted by a short figure walking into me.

"Excuse me, I'm so-" he said politely, but once he looked into my eyes, I noticed it was Armin.

ARMIN?!

For a moment there was an akward silence, then Armin's eyes wandered to Jean, and he froze.

"WOW, what a coincidence!" I yelled to break the silence. "JEAN AND I WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT YOU!"

"Oh, r-really?" Armin spoke out, nervously.

"Yeah, where were you?"

"Oh, um... I was sick, but I was feeling better and didn't want to miss too much school, so I asked my dad to take me."

"Well that's a load of bull shit." Jean interupted angrily, and he got closer to Armin, but I used my body to get between them.

"Come on Jean, lets not get irrational!" I laugh out, trying to tone down the tension in the air.

"I know you were avoiding me Armin! And I want an explanation why too!"

"A-avoiding you? W-why would I avoid y-you?" Armin stuttered out.

"And I can tell you're lying." With that Jean grabbed his ear. "Your ears turn red when you're lying, they're red!"

"Okay, I don't actually feel good, I just really wanted to go to school! And I had to throw up earlier!"

"Armin, you're lying-"

"Im telling the truth!"

"Armin. Just don't talk to me until I know you're telling the truth." With that Jean walked off leaving Armin and I by ourselves.

Welp. There goes my ship up in flames.

Levi's P.O.V

Right now we're all taking a break in gym... The moment I walked in the coach told me to run with the rest of the seniors around the gym.

"And that's why we all have to do intense training." Ymir said, after she explained why we all had to do intense training, and I had clenched my fist.
