We had just gone to the fair, me and Gabriel. He's my twin brother. We do everything together, eat, sleep, play, we have the same friends, matching clothes, favorite colors, everything. We're 9 years old so our parents weren't too keen on letting us go by ourselves but we promised we would behave. We had saved just enough money to take the Subway back home.

We were gonna get off, where our parents were to pick us up since we didn't know our address. We were gonna go home and eat some of our mom's homemade cookies. We were gonna watch our favorite cartoons and do homework. But we didn't. Well at least I didn't, I never made it home.

I frantically looked around "Gabriel!" I yelled my twins name and started running. I spotted him looking at a map. I pushed people out of the way to get to him. I saw him call Police over and mouthing words that looked like "Find her" The Police nodded and and ran off. He looked both ways and then stepped onto the Subway. "No!" I yelled. I was a few feet behind him. He turned around just as the door of the Subway closed. His eyes went wide. He yelled and banged on the doors. The train started moving. I ran with it as if trying to get ahold of the last bit of hope. I wanted to jump on but I know I'd die. The last words I heard my twin brother say to me were "I'll find you even if you're gone" Then the train went through the tunnel. Gone.

I hope you liked the Prologue of Gone. The picture is the subway station and the song is Gabriel singing to Gabriella. Please tell me what you think in the comments below. Don't forget to vote and share too. Have a good day/night wherever you are!
