Gabriella's POV
Its been months. I tried to remember where our house was but it was no use. I'm not alone though. This kind woman found me crying on the the street and took me in. At least now I have food and a roof over my head.
"Gabriella!" I heard her calling my name "Coming Miss. Clausen!" I yelled back and ran down the stairs. "I told you you can call me Martha. And the trash is full, can you take it out?" She said. I nodded "Sorry and sure" I ran to the trash and took out the bag. In exchange for her kindness I do whatever she asks without complaining. She promised to help me find Gabe.
I threw the bag in the dumpster for the garbage truck to pick up and ran inside. I washed my hands. "So Mis- uh Martha, what's for lunch?" I asked. She thought for a second. "Sandwiches. Takeout for dinner" Martha is a wealthy woman, not really rich but just, rich. My stomach growled and she chuckled. "Someone's hungry. By the way did you finish your homework?" She asked.
I nodded "Most. There's a science experiment that I need help with" She hummed "Well we'll just have to do it after dinner" She sang. I laughed and ran upstairs to practice my Violin. When Martha found me she enrolled me in school, signed me up for Violin, and took me shopping. I love Martha.
Maybe someday I'll find my beloved family. Someday.
