What Happens Now?

Marceline's POV

Last couple of days have been strange, ever that incident at the beach Finn's been acting weird. PB won't tell me what's happening and Finn hardly ever leaves me alone to do some digging of my own. I don't known to sound like I'm complaining, the last couple of days have been great, Finn has been taking the lead and it's been great but it just seems like he's hiding something. I wasn't sleeping well so I got up at lunch time, Finn still wasn't back, he must of went to see the pups or Lady but he left his backpack here. I decided to look through it. There was some simple stuff like daggers, magic potions, his mobile and a music player, which only had songs he had recorded and they were all mine. I found a strange bag filled with letters pieces of paper. They were all dated, going back to when Finn first left. Some of them had my name on them others had Jake's name while some were untitled. I felt bad about reading them but once I started I couldn't stop. It was so tragic, Finn had to go through some pretty messed up stuff all by himself. I found out my dad help Finn but then Finn betrayed him. Then I came to the worst part, Pandora's Box, created by humans to seal the worst monsters through the suffering of thousands of souls. I understood why my dad was interested in Pandora's Box and this thing was inside of Finn. From what I understood Finn used it so destroy countless monsters that were as power as the Lich and by doing so it was slowly killing him, to save himself he murdered what he called the settlement to stop himself from dying. I couldn't help but cry at those hastily written words. 

I had finally gotten to the final few letters and the sun had already started going down. The last few letters were mostly about me and the time I had spent with him, they were so beautifully written unlike the rest of the letters. As it turns out he battled the Lich and it sped up the poison. I couldn't stop bawling knowing that I could lose him soon. The final piece of paper had two lists on it: Thing for Marceline and Things to do with Marceline. The list was mostly crossed out. I heard the door open and footsteps echoing. It was Finn. I confronted him about what was happening but I didn't want to argue. Eventually one thing lead to another and we had hot passionate sex, what an exhausting activity that was. Finn looked so scared, his whole body tremble, I grabbed my bass and play the song my mum used to sing to me when I was scared. He seemed to relax a bit after that, even sang with me while playing guitar. We played video games and watched movies while cuddling on the couch. I didn't want to let go of him because I thought if I did he would disappear and sure enough after I had fallen asleep I felt him wiggle his way out of my arms at first I thought that he was just going to get a drink of water or something but I heard the door slam. I saw that the sun was coming up so I quickly put long clothes on and grabbed my umbrella. By the time I made it outside, Finn was unconscious and he looked like he was in tons of pain. "Finn!" I screamed and I dragged him inside. There was only one thing that I could do for him now. I sank my fangs into his neck and drained a good amount of his blood. I then morphed my left hand into a blade then made a cut on my wrist and quickly took my blood into my month before the wound closed up. I forced my blood into Finn's and he swallowed. 

Finn's POV 

Everything was black the only thing I could see was my naked body. A white figure appeared and slowly morphed into the Lich. My entire life played on TV screen beside the Lich. I just stood there and watched as if I was a mindless zombie. Eventually it reached the current point in time then the Lich turned to me and smiled then morphed into a beautiful young woman that looked like me. "Finn, you've come along when and you've shown me many things both good and bad, beautiful and ugly. I has been quite a journey with you Finn the Human." She spoke clearly, 

"Who are you? Where am I?" I asked, 

"I am Pandora and currently you are on the border between life and death." Pandora smiled, 

"Why did you look like the Lich?" I frowned, 

"The one you call the Lich freed me from restraints placed on me by the evil humans from the settlement. We discussed many things while he was here, that being was truly evil, I am glad you casted him away." Pandora shook her head, 

"So what are you?"  I said sitting down, 

"I am angel, my purpose was to bring balance to your world however I was capture by humans and they did horrible things to me. I can't say that I'm not glad the humans are gone." she held herself as if to comfort herself, 

"So what happens now?" I questioned, 

"Finn, fate has been truly cruel to you and in spite of that you still managed to do beautiful things and unknowingly unlocked my higher functions. I wish to reward you." Pandora replied. Before me appeared four glass windows. The one on the furthest left had Jake and I fighting monsters in a dungeon behind it. The inner left window had Marceline and I playing music at her place behind it. The inner right window had Xenovia and I dodging through gunfire and explosions in the Wastelands. The furthest right window had dad, mum and I (baby) living happily together on a spaceship. "It's time to decide Finn, will you have the life you always dreamed for with your parents or will go back to Jake? Maybe you will go to Xenovia? Perhaps you will choose Marceline?" 

"You are too cruel, making me choose between my only desires." I hissed, 

"Would you prefer that I didn't?" Pandora glared at me, 

"What will happen to you?" I pondered, 

"I am bound to you, wherever you go I must follow." she sighed, 

"So I will still die regardless of what I choose?" I snarled, 

"No. I think my existence is meaningless for the current world, no matter how hard I try your world cannot be balanced. I wish to rest. I will change my form into a blade that you can call upon. Things with a physical form that you have sealed will become part of me and non-physical things will become part of you." Pandora explained, 

"I think I understand, so that means the price has been paid?" I asked, 

"Yes, so make your decision, Finn the Human," Pandora spoke proudly, 

"There's only one place I belong now." I smirked. I jumped through the window. 

I felt so cold yet I sweated and every centimetre of my body ached. My throat was so dry, like a desert. My heart raced like spaceship in hyperdrive. Every breath was heavy and a struggle. There was a sweet taste in my mouth that I have never tasted before. My muscles twitched and spasmed. My vision was blurred to the point I could see but I could make out a dark mass connected to a pale mass. My ears were ringing but I could hear someone calling my name and asking questions. Was this Pandora's fault? Did I make the right decision? I reached out my heavy hand until I felt cold soft skin. "I'm back..." I coughed.
