Chapter One:When All Was Okay

I skipped to the room."Dumating na ba si Agnes?"I asked dragging my bag to my seat.

"Wala pa Angelica,eh."Sam replied,looking at me and smiling,before going back to what she was doing.

"Ano yan?"I asked,curious as usual.

"Homework natin.Nagawa mo ba sayo?"She asked,looking at me with a raised brow.

"Ano?!Patay na!Anong page?!"I asked,alarmed.

"Page 203 Angelica.Hindi mo nagawa no.Ang problema kasi sayo lagi 'Harry Styles' ang nakatatak diyan sa isip mo"She said,making the situation brighter.

"Gee.Salamat sa compliment"I replied sarcastically.

She just rolled her eyes playfully at me.A few moments later,Blaire came dancing through the front door.

"Page 203.Homework.Gawin mo na."I said,looking at her with a smile.I know Blaire,and she rarely does her homework.

"Salamat Angelica ha.You always got my back."She said,as she hugged me.

"Sorry kung i-bebreak ko yung sweetness niyo pero pero only 6 minutes till it goes 'ting ting ting'"Sam said,pointing at the bell just beside our classroom.

"Nagseselos ka lang eh.Halika nga dito!"Blaire ushered as we ran to her and flattened her.

"Aray ko naman.Ang bigat nyo!"She complained then cursed under her breath.

"Heloo.Angelica?"Agnes asked,walking through the front door,laughing at Sam.

"Right.Now i'm humiliated."Sam said as she pushed as both off her.

I ran to Agnes and scooped her in a bear hug.

"Lava 1.Andon na yung Lava Lava mo."She teased,elbowing me,which i totally hated.

"Will you shut the hell up?!"I said as i ran out the front door,bumping into the exact person we were talking about earlier.

"Angelica?Lava 1?"Erick asked,getting ahold of my waist which was falling along with my body.(Well obvoiusly!)

"Erick?A.....e...Nakita mo ba si Joshua?"I asked,getting out of his grip,before noticing how a fool i have been for chosing those words.

"Oo.Nakatatak diyan sa mukha at puso mo"He said,smirking at me."By the way,magandang umaga."He said as he kissed my cheek.

Kung alam mo lang na ikaw ang sinisigaw ng puso ko.Magpakailanman, i thought.

I followed him in the room just to find Agnes,Blaire and Sam making kissy faces at me.

"Tigil-tigilan niyo nga yan!"I complained as i plopped my butt ontu my chair.

"Magandang umaga."Sam said,mimicking Erick's voice.

"Shut the hell up!!"I screamed,trying to focus on my homework.(Well to be specific,schoolwork.)

We had just done checking our homework when i got the highest score!Two over 10!Yey!

"May gusto ka sa kanya?"Marie asked,looking at me seriously.

"Sa kanya who?"I asked,confused.

"Let's just call him Ariel."She winked,pucking her lips towards Erick.

"Napagusapan na natin to at sabi ko sayo na NAKA-MOVE ON NA AKO."I replied,emphasizing the 'NAKA-MOVE ON NA AKO' part.

"Alam ko.Pero siya hindi pa."She said,pouting as she shoved me my notebook.

"Akala mo may mahal siyang iba...Yun pala mahal ka parin.....NIYA."I read aloud,confused of who wrote it.

"Alam ko sino sulat yan."She said,shrugging and pointing at Erick,who was smiling at me awkwardly in a shade of a tomato.

"Shit!"I cursed silently,as tears started to form in my eyes.

The reason why i had given up on Erick is that i saw him kissing another girl.I avoided him after that bot realised i couldn't live without my crush.We became bestfriends and i managed not to remember all that happened that tore my heart to pieces.And that girl was my mortal enemy.April Summers.

"Halika nga dito!"I whispered,pulling Marie closer.

"You know na masasaktan ako nito."I said as i whiped a tear that fell from my eyes.

"Alam ko.Pero dapat malaman mo na mahal ka parin niya."She said,hugging me tight.

"Angelica.Pwede ba tayong mag-usap?"Erick asked,squirming in his seat beside me.

"Pwede naman.Asan gusto mo?"I replied,looking down at my lap.

"Library lang siguro.Private eh.Pero wag kang mag-alala.Wala akong gagawin sayo."He added,making me sigh in relief.

"Sige.Halika na!"I screamed as i took his hand and ran him to the library.

Our library was a classroom a few years behind but was abandoned by the school's owner.We just call it library cause it is where the keep old books and researches.

We arrived at the library and closed the door behind us.

"Umm....About that note?"He began looking at me as i sniffed.

"What a-about t-that note?"I asked,trying not to break down in front of him.

"I love you okay?"He admitted,his face turing into a bright shade of red.

"Okay?Can i break down in front of you?Can i also tell you i love you to the moon and back?Can i tell you how i felt when i saw you kiss April?Can i tell you how my heart cried evrytime i see you with her?"I cried,running for the door.

I thought he hated me.I thought that if he told me he loved me it would melt my heart?But why?Why am i breaking down?

He grabbed my hand and kissed me.

"Please please don't hate me.Please don't.We can work things out.Please."He pleaded,tears forming in his eyes.

"Tama na Erick.Alam ko bola lang to kaya pumunta ka na kay April,naghihintay yun."I replied,shaking offhis hands and running outside.

He stayed inside as i sat on a log and cried my heart out.

"Angelica please."He said as he ran outside.

"Erick.Alam ko naman na mahal mo ako.Bilang kaibigan.Pero mahal ka ni April at mahal mo rin siya.Kayo ang perfect pair"I said as i left him in tears outside the library.
