The next day, Ron headed towards the joke shop. George was already inside, and Ron felt apprehensive about going in.
"Get out." was the greeting Ron got from his brother.
"Hello to you, too." Ron grunted.
"Get out." George repeated calmly. "Or I will make you."
"Mr Weasley, is everything OK? Where is Mr Weasley?" the blonde shop assistant said, looking worried.
"He's dead. This is Ron, my brother, who is now leaving." George indicated to Ron.
"Oh, so sorry, Mr Weasley. I do hope you are OK?" she said, sounding genuinely sorry.
"Nah, I'm not OK. But thanks anyway, Tilly." George walked out of the shop. Tilly looked out the window.
"Rough times, huh?" she enquired.
"Yeah. I made it worse. he moved out, and he hasn't got any money, no-one to live with, or anywhere to live, at that matter." Ron squinted out the window. He noticed Angelina Johnson walking around Diagon Alley. George seemed to as well, because he walked towards her. She was crying, and she fell into George's arms. Ron opend the door and crept outside, to listen to what they were saying.
"George! How are you?" Angelina sniffed.
"I've been better. You?"
"Yeah. I mean, I'll never really get over it. I mean, he's your twin, and he was always really nice to me!"
"He was. Did he ever tell you he liked you?" George was looking into her eyes now.
"No... Did he?"
"I think so. See, twins know everything, and I could tell by the way he talked about you at home." George laughed as Angelina went pink.
"Oh, how sweet! Now... It's too late..." she sniffed. Ron watched as George pulled Angelina into a hug. But the hug was idfferent, not like the one he gave Hermione, that was more a friendship hug. This one wasn't. Angelina looked into Geroge's eyes. She moved closer.
"I'm sorry. I can't do this, George." she said, pulling away. "It's too soon. I'm sorry."
"OK, I know. I'm sorry too. I put you under pressure. Sorry."
"Well, see you."
"Yeah. Bye."
George trapced back into the shop.
"What're staring at, little bro?" George snapped at Ron.
"You like her!"
"So?"
"I'm so telling mum!" Ron exclaimed. Geroge shrugged.
"Let's get to work."
Weasley Wizard Wheezes was a bright shop, and it was full of Fred and george's schhol boy creations. Skiving Snackboxes, including Nosebleed Noughat, Puking Pastilles and plenty more exciting sweets designed to get you out of class. Hermione had tried to stop the buisness during Hogwarts, but she was now one of the best customers the twins could have asked for.
Ron looked around. There were Fanged Frisbees zooming around. The long orange staircase leading to even more goodies.
Anti-Gravity Hats, Aviatomobiles, Boxing Telescopes and Bruise Removing Pastes, Bubble Machines, Comb-a-Chameleans, Creepy Crawlies, Demon Boxes, Delores Umberidge Toys, Dungbombs, Extentable Ears, Happy Bubble Boxes, Headless Hats, U-No-Poo's and loads more exciting Weasley products lined the shelves and the ceiling proudly. Ron gawped at everything. He had neevr realised how big it was, having never been in here without at leats fifty other people in one corner.
"George?" he said timidly.
"Yes, little bro?"
"This shop is amzing."
"Of course it is, I own it."
Ron was glad they were back on teasing terms.
