The past two days went past a blur. I stayed home from school and so did Chloe. The whole family including Evan and Nate walked around lost and confused. I did the same things both days. Ate something, had a shower, cried and slept. No one did anything useful. We just wondered around dauntingly like lost ghost.
On the second night I talked to Chloe about whether she wanted to stay or go. She said she wanted to stay so that made my mind up as well. I was quite comfortable with staying, the only thing that worried me was, am I going to loose the bond I have with Cody? Since he’s going will he forget me?
I watched the clouds drift around in the blue sky from our backyard porch. I sat calmly on the creaky wooden floors with a hot chocolate in my hand.
When the sun went down and it got dark I trotted back inside and went up stairs. I went my room and got my p-jays on and quickly jumped into bed. As soon as my head touched the pillow I was out cold.

BEEEEEP BEEEEEP. The alarm clock blared. I sighed before peeling back my bed sheets and stumbling to my bathroom. I went to the sink, brushed my teeth then hurried to my room to pick what I was going to wear today. I decided to wear some light blue skinny jeans and a grey jumper that had ‘one true love’ printed on the front. I shrugged them on and went down stairs, picking up my bag from the corner of my room on the way out.
I walked inside the kitchen to see it empty. Well that’s weird normally I’m the last one in the kitchen. Today I’m the first? I glance at the clock to see its only 6:30 am. Wait why am I up this early? I adore my sleep so why am I awake right now when I could be in my bed?
Then it hit me. I’m supposed to go school early today so I could get Catars pay back ready! I forgot I planned it all last night and I was finally doing it today! But after he was so nice to me the other day should I drop the prank? Na.
I quickly jotted down on a sticky note ‘ hey mum, going to school early because I need to talk to one of my teachers about some work I don’t understand. Sorry! See you after school’ then stuck it on the fridge and ran out the front door.
I fast walked down the streets and smiled when I saw my school come into view. I had a lot of work to do.

A hour and a half later I had finished my set up, people had started arriving at school and I was sitting cross legged waiting for Catar to come and open his locker.
What time does he usually come to school? I hope he isn’t one of those late arrives. It would make my whole prank a waste of time. Oh well not a complete waste of time because I’m recording it.
Out of boredom I started counting the bricks on the wall. I was up to 180 when Jessica sat down next to me.
“Watcha doing?” she asked while I squealed and hugged her. I missed this girl so much! It’s been almost a week since I last saw her.
“Why haven’t you been at school? Oh and what happen the other day? Everyone was saying something about pink paint getting spilt all over you.” She asked tilting her head to the side like a puppy.
Should I tell Jessica about my mum? Of course I should. She’s my best friend. If I cant trust her, who can I trust?
“I’ll tell you that later. When we’re alone, and yea pink paint did spill all over me thanks to Catar. It was his creative payback,” I answered.
