-chapter 12-

As soon as Catars lips touched mine it was like an explosion of pleasure was released. My eyelids fluttered shut. He leaned in closer while placing his hands on my waist. I felt a wave of fire works travel through my body. I inwardly gasped and moved even more closer to him. My hands flew up to the back of his head and I tangled my fingers in his hair. If we weren’t already sitting down my knees would of weakened and I would of collapsed. I could feel his soft lips against mine; his well-toned chest and abs were pressed against my own chest. I wanted to lead my hands down so they could just brush those abs but I couldn’t bring myself to remove my hands from his soft creamy brown hair. I could smell his heady scent and it was like a drug to me.

When he nibbled on my bottom lip for entrance I panicked. My eyes snapped open and I pulled away. I had never been kissed with the whole tongue action before. In fact I had never been kissed before. Oh my god! Catar Posti took my first kiss. How did I manage to not realize that?

“W-what, I thought you wanted me to?” he stuttered, a confused expression on his face.

“ I did. I mean. I wasn’t even prepared, you just smashed your lips onto mine!”

“Well, you kissed back!” he said anger rising in his voice.

“I know but-“

“But what? I support you when you find out about your mum and then I tell you my deepest darkest memories and secrets but when I try to kiss you, YOU PULL AWAY.” Fury was written all over his face.

“HEY CATAR! RELAX; I REALLY DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE BIG PROBLEM IS! IF I DON’T WANT TO GO INTO EXTREMS WITH A KISS I DON’T HAVE TO! IM NOT EVEN YOUR GIRLFRIEND SO YOU CAN’T GET ANGRY WITH ME! DID YOU EVEN KNOW THAT WAS MY FIRST KISS, OF COURSE IM GOING TO PULL AWAY WHEN I THINK IM NOT READY FOR THE FULL ACTION!” I yelled, blood boiling.

“IT WAS A KISS! I DIDN’T TAKE YOUR VIRGINITY!”

“YES, BUT IT WAS MY FIRST KISS.” I bellowed, trying to get the message through his thick head. “ I don’t expect you to understand. You probably hook up with a new chick every week and then forget about her. That’s probably what this is for you. Another hook up.” with that I got up and walked out of his room.

Before I shut the door I caught a glimpse of his furious face. It was almost as if steam was coming out from his ears.

I walked back into the kitchen, thanked Kate and Mark for a lovely dinner and left before I could get sucked into any other messes. Catar sure had a lot of nerve! Who did he think he was? I mean you can’t just go around kissing people and get all worked up if they don’t kiss the way you want. Maybe I was the one being weird. I mean when all my friends were getting their first kiss in 7th grade I was watching the star wars movies with my dad. Hey! Don’t judge. Some of the actors on there were really hot.

You know what? Tonight I was going to go home, forget about Catar and enjoy my time with my family.

I strolled the short walk to my house and opened the front door and kicked off my shoes. The house was very quite. There was no laughing, yelling, teasing or talking. The only noise I could hear was from the TV in the lounge room. This place hasn’t been the same since mum found out she had cancer. Cody didn’t even run to greet me at the front door anymore. It was as if he could sense all the misery.

I walked into the lounge room to see Cody laying stomach down on the floor with his feet in the air and his chip resting in both his hands. This exactly what I mean! Everyone had lost their spirit. Normally Cody would be playing somewhere, it didn’t matter if it was with Chloe or by himself. But now his just laying there. Shaking my head I walked up to Choles room to see her fiddling on the computer. Normally she would be drawing or something like that. After that I went and saw dad was reading the newspaper, Nate and Evan were stuffing their faces in the kitchen and mum was just sitting there, gazing into thin air.
