Rose balled herself up in the corridor. How dare she? How dare Crystal mention Olivia? It was all done and over with. She couldn’t even remember why they were fighting.

“I hate you!”

Her fingers gently traced the scar on her forehead, zigzagging on her temple. It was still there, covered by her fringe.

I hate you…. why?

Why?

Flashes of the incident came back to her.

Olivia shaking her by her shoulders…

Screaming…

Her head struck repeatedly on the cabinet…

Blood pooled on the floor, as she lay unconscious.

Helen’s scream as Olivia turned on her after leaving Rose in a pool of crimson…

Maybe Olivia wasn’t aware how strong she was. Maybe she was just angry. Maybe Rose did something wrong.

Maybe it’s time to forgive her.

“Hey, you okay?” Natasha asked, offering her hand to help Rose up. ‘Yeah, just thinking about...”she left her sentence unsaid. “I know.” Natasha put her finger to her lips.

“Don’t talk about it. Come on, let’s go back.” She pulled Rose up to her feet. “Thanks.” Rose smiled gratefully at her.
