TAINTED ROSE

Chapter 12

Hey guys. Just a warning that the next few chapters might be a bit convoluted, sorry bout that. will put up a better joining when we think of one.

The days had passed like a drag and it was finally the first day of the examinations. Adolpha was not having a good day. She woke up late, found out that her school uniform was still dirty from the lesson with Brutus, her bag is still unpacked and that she ran out of black ink. Her head still throbbed from the loads of information that she tried to absorb while burning the midnight’s oil the day before as she slopped on her seat. She noticed that the tables and chairs were neatly divided into rows, not a single one of them is out of alignment. Also, the noticeboards were stripped off their colourful decorations and notes. If it weren’t for her tiredness, she would had appreciated the new look that the class had. Sherry gave Adolpha a thumbs up and past her a black pen just before Ms Lois walked in.

Suddenly, time seemed to fly by very quickly. The giving out of the papers were a blur and the paper seemed to end just after it started. Adolpha leaned her head on the table, closing her eyes. The first paper had finally ended. The ending is just the beginning.

As the weeks go by, it was all the same. Exams, exams, exams. The students of The Academy were excused from physical training during these two weeks of mental torture. When it was finally over, 2/4 erupted into a cheer and Adolpha remained ‘stonic’ as ever. She didn’t care. She was just relieved that she could finally go back to the dorm to catch up on her sleep.

 When Adolpha was walking back, she saw a commotion at the stairwell landing. It was between Rose and Crystal. There was a crowd of students surrounding the two girls, chanting, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” Rose was arguing with Crystal over something.

What happenened next.... was utter chaos
