Baby Daddy Trouble Ch.3

"Oh God. Oh God, please no." I sobbed in the doctor's office with my mom and Joy. I was just told some life-changing news.

I'm pregnant.

"Are you sure?" Mom asked the doctor.

"I'm positive, Miss Williams. Angel is three weeks pregnant. The baby should be due about February or March of next year. I want her back in two weeks for a check up." Dr. Gouri said before walking out. I wiped my tears.

"Angel, what happened?" Mom asked me.

"I...I...Don't be mad at me." I cried.

"I'm more disappointed than mad. Just tell me what happened?" Mom sighed.

"That night we went to Mindless Behavior's hotel, Princeton and I were alone in his room and we..." I trailed off. Mom didn't know what to say. Prince and I have been together for three weeks now and Mom has found no problems with him until now.

"You have to tell him. He needs to come here." Mom said as we left the doctor's office.

I just nodded as we got in the car. I leaned against the window and cried silent tears. I had to tell everyone. My dad, my brothers, sisters, cousin, aunts, grandparents, and most importantly Prince.

When we got home, I calmed my tears as I went into my room with the test results in my hand and my phone in the other. I dialed Prince's number before the tears started to fall.

"Hey, mi ángel!" Prince exclaimed when he answered the phone. His excitement made me smile.

"Hey Prince." I smiled through my tears.

"I'm so happy you called, but you know that you can't just call at random times. I'm at a radio interview. Can I call you back later?" Prince asked.

"But Prince, it's important." I sniffed.

"Keisha, can I finish this call?...Please it's important...No, it isn't my mother, it's Angel...But I need to...Keisha, she sounds upset...Thank you. Angel?" Prince spoke to Keisha as I waited for him.

"Yes?" I whispered.

"What's wrong?" Prince asked.

"P-- Jacob, you didn't use a condom." I said, using his real name. The only time I used his real name was when I was upset with him or didn't like something he told me.

"What do you mean? I know I did." Prince scoffed.

"But you didn't!" I cried. "I have the test results in my hand right now."

"Send me a picture." Prince sounded scared.

I took a picture of the papers and sent it to him. When I heard him gasp I started crying.

"Oh my God. Keisha! Keisha!" Prince started going crazy. "I'm so sorry, Angel. I'm so sorry......No, Keisha. I need to go to New Orleans. Now. I need to get there now....Don't cry, Angel. Please stop crying. I'll be there as soon as possible."

"I can't stop crying, Prince. I'm scared." I cried.

"Don't be. I'll be there soon. I'll be with you soon." Prince soothed me. "Keisha, forget the interview. Angel, needs me....Keisha, she's pregnant."

He was whispering by now. It was silent as I guess Keisha spoke with Prince.

"Angel?" Prince asked.

"I'm still here." I sniffed.

"Don't cry. Please stop crying. I'll be in New Orleans by tomorrow morning. So will Keisha and my mom." Prince said. It sounded like he was in a car.

"Okay." I nodded as I wiped my tears.

"I'm packing now. I'll be there in the morning. I'm so sorry. Who knows?" Prince talked to fill the silence.

"My mom and Joy. I need to call my dad to get him down here. My mom is calling everyone else. I need to call the girls as well." I sighed.

"Do you want to keep it?" Prince asked.

"It isn't my decision, is it? If my parents don't want me having a baby then I can't have one." I said.

"Yes, you do have a decision. The baby will grow in you. If you get an abortion, it'll make it close to impossible to conceive again in the future. What if I wanted the baby?" Prince said.

"What if I didn't?" I asked.

"...then we wouldn't have the baby. But Angel, I know you. After three weeks of calls and texts and that night, I know you so well. You want this baby. I know you do." Prince said after a moment's hesitantion.

"We'll talk about it more when you get here. I'm still scared." I said.

"Don't be. Don't be scared, baby girl. I'll be there soon. My mom and I are heading to Keisha's place now. Then we're on our way to the airport. I'll be there soon, love. Don't be afraid. I've got you through whatever." Prince soothed me.

"Okay. Okay." I sighed as my phone started vibrating. My dad was calling. "My dad is calling! I can't do this!"

I burst out in tears.

"Stop crying. It's okay. It's okay. Just put us on three-way. We can tell him together." Prince said.

"Together?" I asked.

"Together. Answer his call." Prince said in a calming voice. I took a deep breath and answered the call.

"Hey Daddy." I smiled.

"Hey baby. Your momma said you had something to tell me." Daddy answered the phone as I joined my two calls.

"Daddy, I do have something to tell you. Well, Prince and I do." I sighed.

"Hello Mr. Walter." Prince said.

"Hello Jacob. What is it, Angel?" Daddy asked.

"Daddy, I'm...I'm..." I cut myself off by bursting into tears.

"Angel, please stop crying. It's okay." Prince sighed.

"What's wrong with her, Jacob?" Daddy asked, way passed alarmed.

"Mr. Walter, Angel is pregnant...with my child." Prince told Daddy slowly.

"She's pregnant? With your child?"

"Yes, sir. I got Angel pregnant. She's three weeks pregnant." Prince answered. "I'm coming to New Olreans in the morning with my mother and one of my managers to speak with Miss Wendy. Angel and I were hoping you would be able to come down so we can all speak."

"I'll be down in the morning." Daddy sighed.

"Don't be mad, Daddy." I sniffed.

"I'm not mad. Just disappointed, Angel. I'll see you in the morning." Daddy said before hanging up.

"He hates me!" I cried harder. I was still on the phone with Prince.

"No, sweetie, he doesn't hate you. He's your father. He'll love you no matter what." Prince tried to soothe my tears. "Look, I'll be there in the morning."

"Okay." I sighed.

"I love you." Prince said. "So much. Nothing can ever change that."

"I love you, too." I sniffed. He never said it before. "But don't say you love me because of the baby."

"No, no, no. I love you for more than the baby. Angel, I know we were both irresponsible three weeks ago, but I do love you. I started falling for you the moment you opened your mouth and told Ray something-- not even me, but Ray. I love you with all of my heart." Prince told me.

"I love you, too. I'll see you in the morning." I sniffed. I wiped a stray tear from my face.

"Later, mi ángel." Prince said before hanging up. (My angel)

My life is so over.
