Sweater Weather || Janiel

Chapter 2

Joey's pov

I looked up from my thoughts to see a beautiful, dark haired, emerald eyed boy holding his hand out with his sweater in it

J: No Im ok

I say wiping the tears off my cheeks

X: are you sure? Your shivering

He asked walking over and sitting next to me on the bench. I looked at him and he was staring at me fondly, He looked away fast and a blush formed on his cheeks which made me smile

J: fine Ill put on your sweater

X: here. My name is Daniel by the way

J: my names Joey

He handed me the sweater and I slipped it over my head and put my arms in. It was so warm and cozy, I looked over at him with a slight smile

J: thank you Daniel

D: so why were you crying

J: um my I guess ex-boyfriend and I had a really bad fight and he kicked me out, so now I have nowhere to stay

I explained starting to tear up again

D: oh Im sorry Joey, I really am

He said cautiously putting his hand on my back and rubbing it up and down, the warmth of his touch sent shivers down my spin

J: you dont have to be sorry Daniel, you didn't do anything. I just dont know where I am going to stay tonight

D: you could stay at my house. Im not trying to be weird, Ill sleep on the couch and you can sleep in my bed

J: are you sure? I dont want to be a burden one you

D: im sure

I nodded and we stood up and started walking. I followed him to his car and he opened the passenger side door for me, I smiled at him and got in the car.

The drive to his house was filled with us talking about ourselves and our past. We talked about a lot of personal stuff that i really havent told anyone else, i dont know why but im really comfortable around daniel

We got to his house and he pulled in the driveway. He ran over to my side and opened the door for me, such a gentleman I thought to myself before getting out of the car

J: thank you Daniel

I said with a warm smile

D: your welcome

He responded walking up to his door and unlocking it. He walked in and i followed him

J: wow! Your house is so stylish

I say with a yawn

D: are you a tired boy

I giggled and nodded my head with a smile

D: follow me

J: ok

He started walking up the stairs and i did as he said and followed him. I followed him to his bedroom. He got into his drawers and grabbed some clothes

D: here, change into some more comfortable clothes

He said handing me a pair of sweatpants and a plain gray shirt

J: thank you Daniel

D: Ill be down stairs if you need anything, have a good night sleep

He said walking out the door

J: wait Daniel

I yelled trying to stop him

D: What

He said turning around to look at me

J: Thank you, its good to have a friend to help me through the hard times

He smiled at me and walked toured me. He pulled me into a tight hug and i melted into his embrance

D: ill help you through anything joey

J: thank you, goodnight

I said as he pulled away, he walked to the door but before he exited, he turned around to look at me

D: goodnight joey
