Chapter 4

Joey's pov

D: Im here

He said as I cuddle close to him. Do I like Daniel. He has been so sweet to me, letting me into his home, letting me sleep in his bed, and comforting me.

I was pulled out off my thoughts by Daniel pulling me closer to him

D: are you ok?

J: yea, I am now. I just have to go to the bathroom

I said looking up at him

D: then go

I nodded and he unwrapped his arms from around my body. I got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. I did my business, washed my hands and walked out of the bathroom

J: can I ask you something?

I asked as Daniel sat up and rubbed his eyes

D: yea Joey, anything

J: why are you being so nice to me?

I sat down on the bed and he looked at me with a confused look

D: what do you mean?

J: why did you let me into your home? Why did you let me sleep in your bed? Why did you comfort and cuddle me? Why did you offer me your sweater?

I looked into his eyes and he looked back into mine. He smiled and brushed his hand through his hair

D: because your different Joey, but in a good way. When I first saw you I felt like I needed to talk to you, like the universe was telling me to talk to you. And when you looked up at me, I felt something special.

I looked down and took a moment to think of what he said. I placed my hand on his bicep and looked back into his eyes

J: when I first saw you I thought you were the most gorgeous man I've ever seen

His eyes widened and he smiled

D: really?

I nodded and smiked back at him

D: I like you Joey

J: I like you too Daniel

I said and yawned covering my mouth with my hand

D: come on lets sleep

He said pulling me close to him. I gripped to his waist and laid my head on his chest, and he wrapped his arms around my waist

D: goodnight Joey

J: night
