(Layna's pov)
My eyes fought to stay open as ms.Jameson continued her endless babble over the Civil War or some crap like that. Honestly I was too busy not caring to know what she was saying. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some class slacker or whatever they call it. Ms. Jameson is just the most incredibly boring human on earth. She has the most monotone and quiet voice in existence. So basically, my learning in this class is from reading the textbook.
I fought myself to stay awake and looked next to me at my best friend, Cassidy, to see if she can lend me some entertainment. But, Cassidy was knocked out cold already. Little drops of drool fled her notes and snores flowing out of her mouth. Zac, the douche who sits in front of Cass, smirked and tapped a note to her forehead.
Zac, let out the most annoying shriek of laughter after rereading his note. I pulled the note off Cass' forehead rolling my eyes, and read it.
"I want Zac's dick"
"Really?" I shot him a disgusted look. "Like anyone would want your crusty mini macaroni, Zac."
"Hey I could've said worse!" Zac put his arms up in surrender.
"Yeah but you're still a moron," I huffed, crumbling up the paper and throwing it in my bag as the bell finally rang.
"Okay class, don't forget to do that essay on Slavery," Ms.Jameson said dully. Everyone fled the classroom except me and Cassidy.
"Cass... Wake up!" I poked her excessively. "Wake up you emo scum." Cassidy groaned picking her head up and gathering her things together. "Zac was at it again," I rolled my eyes, handing her the crumbled paper.
"Ew! I have a girlfriend!" She squealed. "And like I'd ever be hetero, especially for Zac," She ripped up the paper.
"Hetero?"
"Yeah it means you like the opposite sex," Cassidy nodded.
"But aren't opposite sexes supposed to like... You know... Repopulate?" I gave her a confused look.
"Yeah but only during breeders week obviously," Cass stood up.
"Wouldn't it be easier to just have breeders together then?" I wondered, following Cass out of the classroom.
"Yeah, but it's just weird that way," Cass shrugged. "I'm not heterophobic or anything though. If I saw a man and a women together then oh golly good for them! But, I've never truly seen a heterosexual relationships you know? I wouldn't get how it'd work out." I just nodded.
"Let's just get to class now, okay?"

Finally at lunch time, I sat down next to Sky, who already had her food out and was showing the sandwich absolutely no mercy.
"Hey where's the annoying couple?" I asked her.
She just shrugged chewing, and after a minute answered, "I saw them in the halls a few minutes ago."
Cassidy and her girlfriend, Lily, were the most annoying couple, in my opinion. They weren't like really gross and huge on PDA, they were just always together, always linked in some way. They were the definition on inseparable, which is the worst couple type. You can't hang out with Cassidy without Lily appearing. And if they were ever apart, they would babble about each other. Honestly, I didn't get it.
"Follow up, where's Calum?" I asked.
"Probably off being gay," Sky shrugged.
Now Sky was often called straight, or the new term I learned today hetero, due to the amount of time she spends with Calum. And because girls and boys being that close as friends was for some reason weird, Sky was constantly accused of liking Calum. I personally think she does, but she gets offended when anyone says that.
"He didn't come to lunch with you today?"
"No," Sky took a sip of her Snapple. "He was showing around this new guy earlier, he probably likes him honestly."
"Since when do we have a new kid?" I asked.
"I don't know, he's another transfer student from Australia. So that's probably why Calum and all them are gravitating towards him," she explained. Our school has a transfer program where every now and then we'll swap students, I don't fully understand it, it's weird as fuck, let's move on.
"Oh," I nodded.
"What're we talking about?" Cassidy asked sitting down with Lily sitting next to her.
"Nothing," I shrugged.
"No what I was thinking Layna?" Lily said.
"What?"
"You've never had a girlfriend." Here we go again world. I was the most forever alone creature alive, next to Sky who's had like 30 second relationships.
"Cause nobody likes me, I don't know," I shrugged.
"I talked to Cass about it and we can help you find one," Lily said.
"Honestly, I don't wanna force anything okay?" I took a sip of my water.
"Well it's not forced if you like them Layna," Cass pointed out.
"Just chill with the girlfriend thing guys, Layna doesn't want that in her life right now," Sky popped in.
"Just trying to help, we don't want her thinking she's hetero or something," Lily shrugged.
"I mean it would make sleepovers a little less weird if you know the person likes dick instead," Cass shrugged.

Sorry this first chapter sucked. I needed a base to start it off from.
I promise it'll be more intense.
