Tehilla P.O.V

Flashback (nine year old Tehilla)

"Mommy, mommy" called a young Tehilla

"Yes sweety," Answer her mother who stood around the stove cooking

"I want my mate," grumbled the little girl pouting

"Well sweetheart I don't think your ready for that as yet," her mother wiped her hands in her apron.

"But-but" she was on the verge of tears

Her mother bent down to her height and kissed her cheeks "Listen sweety when you find your mate it will be the best day in your life he'll treat you like the greatest thing to ever grace the earth,"

"Even greater than chocolate mommy?" she asked

"Yes sweety even greater than chocolate," she responded smiling.

(End of flashback)

I was surrounded by darkness. It felt like I was in a dark void with no way out. Out of all the time for that memory to flashback it chose the very moment. It was not strange for a wolf to not find their mate. While some found their mate the first time they shifted, others won't so lucky. Some wolves didn't ever find but that was very rare.

At age seventeen I still hadn't found my mate. Some of the kids in school picked on me for that matter but it wasn't the only reason. My parents didn't want anyone to know about me so they band me from turning into my wolf. So to everyone I was the the Mateless wolf who couldn't transform.

It didn't bother me much but sometimes even though you know better things get to you. So sometimes I would come home crying to my parents and they would always tell me that things always got better but things always got worse.

As I waited in the void I felt a warm presence eloped me. I wanted to curl up into it but I couldn't move my body. The warmth then left my body and move towards my hand. After a few moments the warmth left and I felt sad for some reason. Then after a while it came back and the weirdest thing happened a spark hit my forehead not the bad spark but it felt good and then out of nowhere the most angelic voice I ever heard spoke.
