Day(after noon?) 2

CURSE DAY 2~

"I'm my name isn't not Alex. I'm Anika." God this is going to be hard.

"Oh sorry. You're his sister though right?" Baylen sat up.

"What ever, it's fine. So then may I ask why are you on my couch and who are you?" Real suddle

 there Anika.

"I'm Baylen, your brother invited me over last night. And so I crashed on your couch." Ya I totally invited him.

"Whatever, I gotta go to school. Stay if you must, just don't break anything." Dead stare in the eyes.

"Nah I gotta go to, by bro is going to wonder where i've been." Oh ya he has a brother!

"Cool." I hope this will end soon.

Me and Baylen went our separate ways. As I walked to school I looked at the sky. I thought about Baylen. What if he comes back during the day and wants to see "Alex". I could tell him that Alex is at work but that might not work. Oh well. I opened my eyes up and saw my school. My friend Jodie walked up to me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Jodie is my best friend from middle school.

"Nothing. Not a thing is wrong with me." I turned away.

"Come on Anika, spit it out." She tugged on my sleeve.

"I met-" Jodie started to giggle and cut me off.

"Oh! Who is he! Where and when did you meet him! It is a him right?" She wouldn't stop laughing!

"I met him when and where I did! His name is Baylen."I didn't know how to say how I met him.

"Ooh~ You crushing? Is he cute? Ah tell me everything!"Jodie was being so peppy. I don' like it!

"Shut, I might not ever see him again." She stopped talking.

The bell rang and school was over. Jodie went home and I did too, just in case I some how turn into a boy again I changed my clothes. It was around dinner time and I just sat down to do my homework. I couldn't concentrate. I lied down on the floor with my legs crossed. I started to think deeply. God, why can't I figure out why I turn into a  guy. It's only at night. Damn it! Baylen why the hell did I have to fucking meet you! Shit~ I can' even do my homework because of him. It's all Baylen's fault. Right? Oh well. I wonder if I'll ever see him again. I need to focus! I zoned out, and didn't hear my door.

"Damn. Coming!"I opened the door to find Baylen waiting."What the fuck."

"Nice use of language." Why is he here!

"What...are...you doing here."I was annoyed.

"Sorry, but I can't find my jacket, I thought I left it here." He took a step back.

"No you didn't. Sorry I'm trying to do my homework, but I can't stay focused." I looked back into my apartment room.

"It's fine, sorry again for bugging you." He started walking down the steps.

"Bye?" I closed the door. Shortly after I heard a scream.

I grabbed my sharpest knife and rushed out the door. I carefully walked down the stairs. Emma had snuck up on Baylen. I couldn't allow her to "kidnap" Baylen. She's like 29 or something and he's like 17. Damn cougar much.

"Fucking cougar must I spray thee to save another rat from thy clutches!" I slid down the last railing and almost cut myself very badly.

"Ha! Omg! Mega burn!" Baylen started laughing.

"Erg! You little brat! Why haven't you get taken to a mental hospital!" Emma kicked the ground.

"Because, I'm to awesome~" I danced around for a little bit, then got real."Now stop thy predering on my domesticated mouse!" I giggled a bit.

"What? Your mouse?"Emma laughed at me.

"Can't handle the feels?" I looked at baylen who had tears in his eyes by now.

"Erg!" Emma walked off.

"Anika that was perfect!" Baylen put his hand on my shoulder. I shuddered.

"Thanks! Now lets go find your jacket."I pointed forward, towards a wall.

"OK, lets go, I had when I was at the park last night." He dragged me off.

 Baylen brought me to the spot he had first met me. Well me meaning Alex. It wasn't there though. After we looked around the park for a little bit We decided to take a break. We sat on the same bench. I don't even think he had one, but I can't call him out on that. Fuck. What will I do if Jodie sees me with Baylen. Shit I have a head ache now.

"Hey you alright?" Baylen sounded concered.

"What ya, it's just a head ache. It's not a problem at all." I tried to smile.

"Are you sure?"He looked at me. It was totally not weird at all.

"I don't know" So smart!

"Hey! Anika!" Shit.

"Hi Jodie..."I'm fucked.

"Who's this? The-"Fuck.

"This is my friend Baylen..." I looked at him.

"Hi." She doesn't suspect a thing!

"Hi." So weird...

"I gotta go, sorry I just wanted to say hi, see you at school."Sure she did.

"OK, bye."She left.

We sat there. In silence. So odd. I say that a lot. I'm not looking at him, so I don't what is going to happen. I guess I'll look. He wasn't looking at me. Wait, he just did. I'm so screwed!

"So, shall we get going, or continue to look?"Why leave? Fuck, then sun is starting to set.

"Damn, sorry I have to go. I'll tell Alex to meet you here. If you like?" I hope he doesn't try to walk me home.

"Ah sure, I could walk you home though. You know that right, these places are dangerous at night." Is he worried about me?

"Don't worry about me, I'm a very nimble child!" I jumped up. Then almost fell.

"Ya nimble." He laughed.

"What ever, I'll be on my way! Now you don't worry your little head, I'll be fine and Alex will be on his way!" I started to walk away.

"OK, just be careful. If you don't I'll be right on my way so just text me OK?" Baylen shouted. I gave him a thumbs up.

I didn't see him any more so I think I went far enough, just in case I become a dude. I wasn't far from my house. I looked at my phone and the time was almost midnight. Fuck I don't know when I turn. Or if I will tonight. I was walked up the stairs, and went inside. I heard a nosie coming from under my couch. I looked under and found a jacket. It said 'SOULS'. I knew this had to be his. The clock hit midnight and with that the next thing I knew I was Alex.

"Damn, wait this is good!"I took out my phone and texted Baylen.

To:Baylen

Yo, I'm on my way ~Alex

To:Anika

Cool, see u here.

I went out the door with his jacket in my hand. After I changed my clothes first. I walked up to the park and saw him sitting on the bench. I zoned out looking at him. Damn it, girl get it together! I hit my self in the face. Didn't hurt.

"Yo, Baylen guess what I found?" I held up the jacket.

"Sweet! Thanks Alex."He put on the jacket."I'm an easy breezy cover girl!"

"Oh my god!" I laughed. He smirked.
