Ill protect you! (Newt)

(And now the story! Finally)

I was running my normal route in the maze, just think of my boyfriend, jake. I was the only girl in the glade, and a runner, and taken. You see when I first got here Jake was kind to me much like newt, Minho, Thomas, alby, and so on. They are my best friends, but I kinda liked both jake and newt at the same time, but jake asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes. At first jake was the perfect boyfriend but then he started beating me for no reason most of the time. I have bruises everywhere, and now is the reason why I wear long sleeves and pants now. I've tried breaking up with him but I get a worse beating.

I was the last corner, then I would be in the safety of the glade. Well that's what most people would think, but for me the maze is safety, there's no beatings, no bruises, no pain. But I have to face it.
I walk into the glade and greet newt and Minho.
"Hey guys I'm back." I say hugging newt first then Minho, but Minho placed his hand on a sensitive bruise and i let out a Yelp. Minho pulls away.
"What! What! What happened?!!" He says in a yell. Newt ran to my side and pulled up my shirt to reveal my whole stomach and back side covered in bruises. He gasped.
"Y/n what happened?" Newt said slowly but full of concern.
"N-nothing." I say pulling my shirt back down.
"Y/n this isn't nothing. Your hurt! Who did this to you?!!" Newt said raising his voice more and more with every word. A few tears escape my y/e/c eyes.
"J-jake." I say now beginning to cry harder. Newt pulls me into a hug and rubs my back softly so he doesn't hurt me.
"Shhh. It's ok we won't let him touch or hurt you again." Newt whispered in my ear softly.

The glade has now found out about what happened, they are all comforting me.
"What's going on here?" Jake said angrily.
" she told us what you did to her! And if you dare touch her I'll banish you myself." Minho said getting up.
"You told him, them" Jake said angrily towards to me.
"I-I'm so sorry I-" I was cut off my a hard punch to the check. I fell to the ground and hit my head. The last thing I saw was everyone running towards me and Jake pulled away from me so he doesn't hurt me anymore. Then black.......
