"AMANDA" I turned around as I heard my name being shouted from down the hall. I saw a blur of movement, then I was being crushed into a bear hug." I missed you over the summer. We so need to catch up and you have to tell me everything and all about your hunk of brothers." Rosine kept on rumbling while I was in need of major air! " let go of her rose, her skin is beginning to turn blue" Candice said walking up behind her. " ohh sorry". Ros replied sheepishly. She let go of me and I took
a big gulp of air to fill

my lungs in.

"Rosine Evans!! I was a second away from dropping dead right here!!" I dramatically exclaimed

"Oh hush up. Stop being a drama queen." She replied

"Me, a drama queen?! Coming from the girl who just almost sent one of her best friends to an early grave. I mean how could you exist without my beautiful existence in your life?"
"Oh hush!" She rolled her eyes as I looped my arm through hers and candice's and walked down the hallway to our first class of the semester.
"Ah I see you haven't lost your sense if humor yet" she said

"Nop!! I worked on it all summer. With egotistical brothers like mine, my wits are all I have. " I said

"Ohhhhh by the way tell me how have your brothers been?!!" Ros questioned excitedly. The thing is that rose has a weird obsession with my brothers. Seriously whenever she is over at my house she gets possessed with something and acts like a completely lost puppy and drools at the mere sight of them.
"I still don't get the weird school crush you have on my brothers. How can anyone stand to look at them for more than a minute? Let alone being romantically involved with them." I said with a shiver mentally feeling sorry for the poor girls who would be stuck with them one day.

"You should ask that to Angela seeing as she is sucking on your brothers face right now." Candice pointed a finger down the hallway.
I looked at the direction she pointed at and cringed at the two people eating each other's face.
"Ugh" I pulled a face. "I still don't get how he can stand her? The mere sight of her has me heading for the nearest bathroom".
Ok I might sound very mean and bitchy but there is a reason for that.
Angela has been my own personal tormenter since I could remember. I don't particularly remember when it started but I always remember her and her cronies teasing me and making my school life miserable. When we were young I always used to hang out with my brothers since I had no friends of my own till now. Whenever I would tag along with them, they would give me glaring glances and not even bother speaking with me. At the time I didn't think anything of it and just hanged out with my brother and his friends and paid them no mind. As we got older it started to get worse. They would corner me in the bathrooms and tease me about my clothes and my hair. I was confused by it all because I thought they were my friends but they would do mean things behind my brothers backs. It became apparent real quickly that they were all fake and we're just putting on a facade in front of my brothers.  That's when I started distancing myself from my brothers and his friends. I completely stopped hanging out with them after a particular incident in the girls bathroom. One day Angela and her group of friends cornered me in the bathroom and started telling me that I wasn't good enough to be related to my brothers. That I shamed the family name. They said it was probably why my father left my mom because he couldn't stand to live with me and be around me. Usually I would ignore them all the time and just brush of their words but my father was a sore subject and Angela new exactly how much. I never felt so low like that day in my entire life which is why I never told my brothers. Knowing them they would stop at nothing to humiliate Angela if they ever found out but I didn't want to stoop to their level, so I quickly found new friends and have avoided their path ever since.

Coming back to reality I held my head high and continued my path to the dreaded English class completely ignoring my brother and the thing hanging off his arm and also realizing we had the same English class as her.
I took my seat at the back with my friends just as the bell rang and tried to completely ignore the fact that this would be one LONG hour!
