During second hour kids seemed to whisper, and it seems as if they wouldn't stop. I looked at them and stopped talking. I looked at Justin. His sweatshirt seemed familiar. I noticed that he was the embarresed guy that I saw outside the building this morning. "Would you like to share what you just had to say during class, Ashley?" Her head darted toward me, "No, I'm good." I nodded and looked back at Justin. I felt anger towards him. He was obviously spreading rumors about me. As I taught the class I couldn't think straight, and kept messing up my words. "Okay, you know what... Let's just take a break." I said as I walked past the students to my desk. After a few minutes of sitting around, I felt as if I had to do something to keep them busy. I took suggestions, "Let's just talk and go on our phones...." Ashley suggested. I shook my head, "No, anyone else?" There were two more hands up, "Brice?"

"Let's watch you and Justin fuck each other..." After I heard his suggestion my eyes traveled to Justin, and then down to my desk. I rubbed my forehead, "Why don't I sing for you guys?" Some nodded, and some didn't answer. I walked around to the front of my desk, and sat against the brim. "Okay, quiet down." I said, then awaited for silence. I hummed a little, then began to sing a song I had written when I was 20, "You and me we made a vow. For better or for worse.. Yeah. I can't believe you let me down, but the proofs in the way it hurts." I saw jaws drop, and I kept singing. When I got to the chorus I changed my pitch to the highest I could get my voice.

After my second hour, I called Justin to stay back again. "Yeah, what's up?" I slightly squinted my eyes and stared into his eyes, "Did you tell people I was flirting with you?" His face went back to the dark red I've seen when he is lying. "No." I smashed my hand onto the desk, "Tell me the truth! I'm sick and tired of me always having to make you tell the truth," He flinched, "This could get me fired. I flicked some students off this morning... Oh wait..." I said smirking, "You were there." He took in a deep breath and looked away, "I'm sorry, I told my friends that you were, because that's what I felt you were doing." I felt tears come to my eyes, but I held them back. "You're aloud to leave." I said, but he just sat there, "Go!" I yelled. He flinched again and quickly got up, and then he ran out of the room.

And students quickly gathered into the class, I turned my chair around so I was facing the chalk board. I let out my few tears, and wiped my eyes. As I turned my chair around I felt embarrassed that I was crying. I stood up out of my chair, "Anyone who talks, or says anything without instruction can sit there ass down outside of my classroom!" The students eyes widened, as they looked to each other. "Do you understand?" They all nodded. I sighed and began to teach the class.

As I was walking to my car with my laptop and empty coffee mug at hand, Justin followed me, and kept trying to get my attention, "Mr. Smith... Mr. Smith... Sam!" He yelled and I stopped at my car. I put my stuff into the back seat and turned around to face him, "Justin, I've just started a teaching career and you're about to ruin it. Can't you see that I'm tired of you, and you starting rumors?" I noticed his hands in is sweatpant pockets, his eyes seemed to be beating out of his head, "Sam," He said quietly. "I'm sorry, my friends make fun of me just because they think I'm gay for you. No, I'm not gay. I just thought maybe you could help me get through whatever phase this is."

"And what shall that phase be?" His eyes stared at me, and stopped at my eyes, "I think I'm in love with you."

Yay, Justin finally said something true for once. Anyways, make my day by leaving a nice comment?
