"Wake up Maddie!" Scott said
"Ughhhh you know I'm not a morning person."
"Well we all have to leave so you and Stiles have to stay here. Just in case. We are just trying to find a way to save you."
"Ok." I say as he hugs me and leaves the room
"Hey babe." Stiles said coming in
"Hi."
He sits down next to me and pulls me into a hug.
"Are you ok?" He asks. "I know how hard it is fighting off the nogitsune is. How terrified you must be at night when it haunts you. But I truly believe you can do it!"
"Thanks." I say.
He pulls me to him and kisses my forehead. He holds me in his arms and we listen to music for hours.
First Louder, then Control, Gasoline, and finally all of Melanie Martinez cry baby album. Over and over again he laughed with the nogitsune.
It's slowly killing me.
Finally the nogitsune turns to him and hugs him. I could scenes that it was about to try something. It kissed him and I take my chance.
I push as hard as I can as the nogitsune pulls up a dark dagger and puts it to his back.
I break out of the room and knock out the mummy on the other side of the door. I run as fast as I can to the end of the field and jump off the cliff.
When I hit the water below I get my body back.
I drop the dagger and collapse in his arms.
"Your the nogitsune!" He yells
"Stiles?" I push out even though it's taking ever ounce of my being to keep the demon at bay.
"Maddie is that really you?"
"Yeah, it's the nogitsune. It's been in control this hole time! I can barely talk right now. Just know I love you and I'm so sorry for anything I do." I say
He kisses me and the nogitsune takes my mind again.
