Chapter Seven

Makoto POV:

How did I end up with such kind people? I don't deserve them.

Garroth's hand squeezes my waist which makes me jump and my body spin. It ends up smashing against his. He stumbles backwards and we fall into a small area of woods. Thank Irene no one can see us.

I blush as I realise how close our lips are and that my body was against his. I went to move when I feel his lips crash against mine. I kiss back as my eyes slip shut and his hands tighten around me.

We lie there kissing for what seems like a few minutes. I hope it was.

I pull away and see he's blushing as much as I am.

I roll off him and stand up, then helping him up.

"Makoto... I-I'm-" I cut Garroth off with my lips, kissing him once more.

He pulls away blushing.

"We should go inside my house." I whisper.

He nods and I take his hand and lead him inside and downstairs before anyone notices.

I turn to face him with a huge smile on my face when all of a sudden I feel lightheaded.

"Garroth somethings wrong." I mutter

"What?!" He asks panicked and I grab his hands as I begin to fall.

He wraps his arms around me as I fall to the ground.

Everything suddenly turns black...

~Flashback~

"Makoto..." he whispered, "This isn't safe.."

"I know," I whisper back taking his hands in mine, "but I'm willing to risk it for you."

He leans in and our lips collide, my hands slide around his neck and his hands snake around my waist.

After a while, we pull away to breathe.

"This goes against every moral we have.." he whispers, his hair falling slightly in front of his eyes.

I let myself get lost in his eyes, "I know.."

He smiles but it suddenly falls as he whispers, "You know.. Once you get out of here.. You'll probably fall for Garroth or anyone better than me."

"Then let's not waste this moment talking about these supposed better people and your brother.. We're together here and now.. That's all that matters right?"

He grins, "I love you Makoto.."

"I love you too Vylad..."
