3 Weeks later
Astrid pov
Today is Saturday. I think it's 10:30 in the morning. I go to the study room to get some of books to read. When I entered to the room I saw Lily studying. She walk towards besides me.
"Sister your birthday will be next week" Lily said happily. I secretly roll my eye. I show her my famous smile 'the fake smile'. "Oh yes, I almost forgot" I said putting my hands on my head. Acting like I forgot that event. "Did mom throw a party for you?" asking me. Is she idiot? Mom always want a party's because she's a arrogant person when it comes to the business.
"I don't know" I answered. Too much talkative. "I think maybe, because last time your friends made disaster to your party which Mom-" I cut her off and said. "It's not there fault, I don't want that kind of party talks about business, I don't want to be like her" How dare she talk like that to my friends. "I know" she said sadly because she knows how I protect my friends.
Lily back to study, I start to search books that I need. A few minutes we heard a knock my mom enter to the room happily.
"Hello my beautiful daughters!" my mom said entering the room.
"Hi mom" Lily answer with a confuse. She knows Mom well, she a very serious person.
"Oh advance happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Astrid" and she kiss me on my cheek. Eww......I was confuse cause she's not melodious to me. You know what happen before.
"Okay you're the first who greet me thanks Mom" I said with a serious tone. OK I know what will happen this time, she wants to have a party again.
"Since you're birthday is next week we will have a great and big party" my mom said happy and excited. I knew it, you can't call it birthday party, but a business party.
Lily froze
"Huh? I thought she will not have party??" Lily asked. Mom ignore Lily "But your friends are not allowed remember that Astrid" mom warned me. As if I will follow her command. "What is the theme of the party?" Lily asked. "Astrid will decide" my mom answered.
"I think tomorrow is the perfect time for planning the party" I said. "okay" my mom said.
My mom go outside to do her paperworks on her office. Lily and I back to study and get some books.
