Ryder POV
I had to stop what I was doing to Malak. I thought he was manipulating me, but really I was manipulating him by not saying anything. I finally took what my sister had said and I finally picked up to text Malak.
Ryder: Hey Malak
Malak: Hey Ryder
Ryder: I think we should talk
Malak: Well first of all i'm so sorry if I hurt you in anyway
Ryder: You did hurt me, you could have told me that you still had feeling for your ex while we were dating.
Malak: I didn't know how to, I mean like it was getting to serious a---
Ryder: WAIT A MINUTE GETTING TOO SERIOUS I thought we were serious? You know what I think we would be better off as really good friends.
Malak : Wait a minute Ryder are you sure about that, I loved you so much. Amber just told you thst to get into your head do you understand?
Ryder: Malak I don't want to get hurt anymore can we just be good friends
Malak: Yea we can be good friends ri. So what you been up to lately?
Ryder: Nothin' I just got off the phone with my sis Riley, she's in college so don't get any funny ideas. Anyway she staying down here for a few months. I can't wait for you to meet her she's crazy.
Malak: FUNNY IDEAS WOW anyway when is she coming?
Ryder: She'll be here in a week
Malak: oh ok

Ryder: Well I'll probably see you in school tomorrow if I feel like going
Malak: FEEL LIKE GOING IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SCHOOL I'M GOING TO YOUR HOUSE AND BANGING ON YOUR DOOR UNTIL YOU GET UP.
Ryder: Yea I want to see that happen
Malak: Ight bet and ima ask your mom to make me one of them amazing smoothies too
Ryder: You know what I'm going to school and how about you just come over for breakfast tomorrow and she'll make you one Malak.
Malak: Okay I'll be there tomorrow
