The car pulled infront of a hotel out lined perfectly in gold and was so tall that it kissed the skies of heaven. A red carpet was stretched out to the sidewalk as reporters and news anchors lined the sides. I took a deep breath as Chantler opened my door. I stepped out onto the carpet as cameras begin to flash, I smiled. I begin to walk down the carpet as reporters asked questions. My eyes wondered through the crowd until they fell on a reporter in a jean jacket who looked as if he was new to this all. His grey eyes made me feel a way that I never felt before. I stopped in my tracks and just admired him, his perfectly brown hair, muscular arms, and perfect teeth. Chantler tapped me on my back to keep moving. I continued to walk as the door was opened for me.

The inside was packed with celebrities an their children. My mom locked her arm in mine and smiled

"You ready?" I looked at her and nodded. "Great remember what I said in the car."

"Hi Ms. Robyn and Ms. Eternity, I'm going to show you your tables." The host said walking towards the dining area.

We follwed as my mom spoke to other celebrities. A small table with a candle light sat in between Selena Gomez and Marci Monroe. I took my seat as the speaker came to the microphone.

"Good evening, this is the celebration for the artists and reward winners of the show tonight, enjoy yourselves." She spoke. "Food is in the back and an outdoor lounge is on the balcony."

After she was done everyone got up to mingle and eat. I walked out of the balcony and took a deep breath. I wasn't into the high fashion so called parties. The classical music and small entrees just didn't impress me. I wanted to dance to music and surprisingly, drink. I heard the balcony door open as a guy with a camera walked onto the balcony. He snapped pictures of the view and the lounge. I watched him closely as he took the pictures.

"Umm, excuse me?" I said standing from my chair. He turned around as I remembered his face from earlier.

"Yes?" he answered in a trace voice.

"A-Aren't you supposed to be taking pictures of the guests?" I asked tilting my head "Not that I want my picture taken, I'm kinda tired of them."

"Well it's not always about the people, sometimes beauty is in the place itself." He said walking towards me.

"Understandable." I said taking my seat again. He smiled and sat in the chair beside me.

"Since we're playing 21 questions then I have one."

"Okay." I laughed.

"Why aren't you inside with everyone else." He asked smirking.

"Well, I just needed fresh air." I said sitting in a snoppy way.

"I don't like the music either." He laughed.

I laughed and looked at him. It was like he read my mind.  His presence was just so warming and I wanted him to stay around forever.

"What's your name?" He asked interrupting my thoughts.

I was taken aback by his remark of not knowing my name. I was literally all over the place and HE didn't have a clue as to what my name was.

"Eternity." I answered.

"The everlasting time of something beautiful." He said smiling.

I blushed and looked away from his gaze.

"Who's line is that?" I asked.

"Bryson Jones." He replied.

"Never heard of him." I said a little confused.

"Well allow me to introduce myself." He said fixing his jean jacket. "I am Bryson Jones; it is my pleasure to meet you."

I laughed and looked at Bryson bent down on one knee like he was bowing to the queen.

"The pleasure is all yours." I laughed in a bad England accent.

He smiled and stood up.  "So where are you from?"

"Nebraska." I answered.

"Beautiful place,  why did you move to California?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"Work." I said blandly.

"How long have you lived here?" He asked.

"About a year." I replied.

"So you haven't actually SEEN California."

"Honestly I haven't had the time." I said. "I'm always busy with work."

"Okay well let me show you around sometime." He said smiling again

"Sure." I blushed.

"Can I have your number?" He asked pulling out his phone.

"I don't give out my number for security reasons,  but follow me in IG and we can DM each other." I said.

"Okay coo." He answered. "We'll do that then,  and can I ask you something else?"

"Sure." I smiled.

"Do y-. "

Bryson's question was cut off by my mother walking out onto the balcony with Jen Karen.
"Here she is." My mom said with a fake smile plastered on her face. She walked over to me and pulled me away from Bryson.
"Honey this is Jen Karen and she's here for the interview." She said still maintaining the smile.
"Okay Eternity I just have a few questions. " Jen said holding a microphone to her face.
I nodded my head and smiled as Jen began to drill me with unnecessary questions.
