Valentines

A/N: This is a Valentine's Day special!!! The setting will be in the actual Hunter x Hunter world. Hope you guys enjoy!

YOUR POV

Me and Kurapika quit out jobs since our boss lost all his money and wasn't able to pay us. We decided to do a little traveling with the money we had and job hunt at the same time.

Right now we are in a small town in the mountains. It's busy but not city busy. Me and Kurapika are looking for a bed and breakfast to stay at.

"There's a nice looking one!" I say sticking out my arm to point to a building that said 'Inn'. It wasn't a dirty looking building either. It was painted white and it looked like a big house.

"I guess we can try it." He says. We walk across the street and enter.

I plump old women sitting behind a neat organized desk beams as she sees us walk in. There's some people eating lunch in what looks like the dining part of the the inn. "Welcome, welcome!" She said to us gesturing is to her desk.

We walk over. "We're looking for 2 available rooms." Kurapika says. I just nod and look around the Inn. There are little hearts decorated everywhere.

"Oh? You're not a couple?" She asks and I feel my cheeks burn. I look up and see Kurapika probably feels the same way. We both quickly look away and back to her.

"N-no. We're just friends." I answer nervously. Yea I really like the guy. I would like for me and him to be a couple. But I doubt he even remotely feels the same.

The woman giggles and I snap my attention back to the situation. "I see." She says. "That's unfortunate. I only have one room left." The women frowns a bit.

"I guess we're going to find a different place-" I started to say but was cut off.

"We'll take it." Kurapika says.

I looked at him surprised. There is a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks. I blush too. The old women smiles and hands the room key to Kurapika. We start walking to our room which is on the 3rd, and highest floor there is, floor. "You didn't need to do that. We could've looked for another inn." I said while I looked at the ground.

"Yea, but if this one was full do you really think we would have found one with two open rooms?" He said as he unlocked the room door.

"I guess you're right."

We walked into our room and there was a couch a TV, bedroom and bathroom. There was only one bed. I sighed and put my things down.

"So what's are we going to do?" I asked the blond headed man as he flopped on the couch.

"Hosndjjdaboutajkdinnerajjdlater." He muffled into the couch. I walked over and sat on the coffee table I front of the couch facing his body that was squished in the couch.

"English would be nice." I said and chuckled. He sat up and looked at me.

"How about I take you to dinner later. Like not just a usual dinner where we go grab some fast food, but actual dress-up-nice-and-guy-buys-girl-food kinda dinner." He cocks his head to the side and looks at me intently waiting for a answer.

'He's so cute...'

"So how about it (y/n)?" He asked again snapping me out of my daze.

"Yea, sounds good!" I say and smile.

"Great! Let's meet up at the restaurant you pointed out earlier. Now go buy yourself a pretty dress." He said scooting me out the door.

"See you at 6!" He said.

"O-ok." I walked out of the inn and down the streets for a dress shop.

When I finished shopping I had bought a white dress that ended above my knees and it hugged my figure. It only had one sleeve that had bows on it. I also had on black two inch heels, a black bracelet and necklace.

I went back to the Inn. When I walked in the room Kurapika wasn't there. I assumed he was already at the restaurant making reservations since it was already 5:00. I got dressed and did my make up and hair.

When I was finished it was 5:45. I needed to get there soon. I looked one last time in the mirror. I looked hella hot. I grabbed my purse and walked out the door.

When I got the the restaurant there was already a lot of couples there. The restaurant, like the inn, was decorated in hearts. 'What is up with all the hearts?' I thought as I walked in.

I walked up and asked if there was a man named Kurapika waiting. The waiter smiled and said "you must be (y/n). I'll take you to your table." He led me to a table where Kurapika was already sitting. He had on a suit and tie. He looked very handsome. I smiled and he smiled back.

I sat down at the table and the waiter gave is menus. "Happy Valentine's Day." Kurapika said and gave me a bright smile with pink dusted on his cheeks.

'That's what's with all the flowers and hearts!' It's like a light bulb went off in my head. I smiled and said "Happy Valentines Day to you too."

When we were finished eating we started to walk back to the inn. We were walking over a bridge when Kurapika abruptly stopped. He leaned on the edge of the bridge and looked down at the reflexion of the stars in the water. I joined next to him.

"Thanks for taking me out today." I said and looked down bashful.

"No problem." He said and scratched the back of his head.

We were silent for a bit gazing into the night.

"Hey (y/n)?" Kurapika said.

"Hm?" I answered. I looked up at him and his cheeks were read and he had a determine look on his face.

"I-i... I really like you." He said and grabbed my hand. I felt my heart flutter and my stomach turn.

He slowly leaned in for a kiss and I leaned in too. Our lips met and a soft kiss was shared between us. I smiled and so did he. He wrapped a arm around me and we started walking back to the Inn.
