A/N: I saw this in a fanfic and I read and I thought it was absolutely adorable

The night had just fallen. The dark sky started to illuminate from the stars and moon. I was sitting in the corner of my house. I had my knees pulled to my chest. I was crying. The tears wouldn't stop streaming down my face. It's been two months but I still missed him like crazy. I started to think of the day we first met.

It was a bright day not a cloud in the sky. But it was still freezing out. It was the middle of the day and there was still snow on the ground from two days ago. I left my jacket at home so I was just wearing a sweater, skinny jeans, and boots. "Idiot." I muttered to myself. I couldn't believe I forgot my jacket. I had my arms crossed and I was rubbing my arms trying to warm my arms.

No hope.

I was looking down at the ground while I was walking down the city sidewalk when I bumped into someone making me fall in the snow. "Watch it!" They hissed and kept on going.

"Sorry." I mumbled to myself. That's when I felt warm hands grab my arms.

"Let me help you." The soothing deep voice said. I looked up and let a blond haired man with grey eyes.

"Th-thanks." I said. I felt warmth start to spread ok my cheeks.

"I'm Kurapika." He gave me a smile and I smiled back. "Oh and take my jacket. You need it more than me."

I got up from my corner and wiped tears off my face jut so more could fall. I went to my kitchen and searched the drawers. While I looked through ever drawer I thought of our first date.

It was summer. I was in Kurapika's Jeep and we were going to the beach. It was such a bright warm day. Perfect weather for the beach.

We arrived and I immediately ran to the water dragging him with me. I hadn't been to the beach in forever. "Excited are we?" He said and laughed as we ran down the hot sand.

I just turned around and smiled at him and laughed too as our feet finally hit the chilling water. We were jumping through the waves when a big wave taller than me. I thought I was going to swept away when I felt a strong arm get a hold of me. He easily held me steady with one arm. I was pulled close to his chest.

"Don't worry I got you." He said and looked down at me. I looked up and smiled at him I felt my cheeks burn.

"You always seem to be here when I need you." I said and giggled.

He looked at me with a expression that I couldn't describe other than happiness and passion. He started to lean in slowly. I leaned in too and felt our lips collide. His lips were soft. I felt warmth spread throughout my Body and I smiled in the kiss.

I found a some matches then went into my garage and searched threw boxes and took boxes. It reminded me of when we first built this house.

We had been together for a year now and we were just finishing up painting the outside of our house. I was wearing a white shirt and jeans that were rolled up above my ankles they had splatters of light blew paint on them. We had just finished and I was stepping down the latter.

"(Y/n)! Come here we have to do the last thing!" Kurapika called.

"Okay!" I yelled back and came around to the front of our newly painted house.

He stood there smiling with 3 numbers in his hand '268.' That was going to be our house number. I walked to him and took the numbers from his hands and neatly placed them on our mailbox.

"I can't believe we are finally done." I said and let out a tired but happy sigh.

"Not quite yet." He said then smirked. I looked at him confused and he brought a pink and blue paint buckets. He dumped his hand in the blue one and put his hand print on the mailbox. So I did the same and except with a pink and a smaller hand print.

He gave me a peck on the lips then wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I wrapped my arm around his waist. And we stood looking at our new house.

I found the lighter fluid. I grabbed my purse and some valuable items and carried them with me as I drenched the interior of our house in the oily substance. I had finally got near to the door I lit a match and opened the door but before I could throw it on the floor. There he was. The man who broke my heart. I could tell he had been crying he had a tear stained face. He looked awful. Well I can't really say anything bad about that because I look just as bad. We just stared into each other's eyes. Seeing him reminded me of the sadness he brought upon me.

"Kurapika! Where the hell have you been?!" I yelled angry as he entered the house.

"Busy." He grumbled as he shut the door behind him and walked to the bedroom.

"With what exactly? You've been quite 'busy' lately." I interrogated.

"Could you just let it go!" He snapped raising his voice too now.

"Why can't you just tell me!? You're always keeping secrets now!" I snapped back.

"Sometimes I feel like you don't trust me..." I said quietly and buried my face in my hands.

"(Y/n)..." He whispered. "I-I just can't tell you.l" he said sternly.

I looked up "get out." I whispered.

"What?" He asked loudly. "What did you say?"

"Get out!" I yelled. "If you don't trust me then just leave! What's the point of living with someone who doesn't trust you?!"

"It's more complicated than that!! I can't just tell you-"

"Get out! All these secrets you've been keeping! I can't take it! I don't want to be lied to!"

"Lies!? I'm not 'lying' about anything!!" He fought.

"Fine. Then where have you been?" I asked again.

He gave me a nasty look. "I told you. I was busy-"

"That's it leave."

"Fine."

I couldn't help but break down. He just looked at me with dad eyes. "(Y/n)..." He breathed out.

"Why!? Why couldn't you just tell me!?" I cried.

"I'm sorry." Was all he said.

"You're sorry?!" I said glaring at him. He flinched.

"Yes. That's why I came back. I couldn't tell you what I was doing because it was for you. I never thought that you would have forced me to leave. I didn't think I would hurt you this much. Leaving hurt me too. I- I'm son sorry." He said he was crying too now.

"What have you been doing these past months?" I asked calmed down now.

"Doing extra jobs. So I could afford this." As he said that he pulled out a ring. It was beautiful.

"Kurapika." I gasped.

"I'm not expecting you to accept it now. I just want you to take me back... Please." He said tears still streaming down his face.

"I won't take it now... But thank you for coming back."  I said and threw myself in his arms.

We both wept in each other's arm. The match had already gone out. "I'm so sorry." He cried. "I love you."

"I love you too Kurapika."
