Prologue
One thought for one girl changed her whole life. I remember the story well. But here is the deal. No one really knows whether the girl existed or that there was an escape from the real world. No one really knows if this happened before or after Wendy's arrival to Neverland. Only one boy knew, who knows if he ever forgets?
Skipping too far ahead though. Let's start with a nice family living in a marginal house. They were not even close to being rich, and they were not poor. The father had a simple job working at a factory and the mother tried to find work, but could never manage to. They only had one child, a little girl named Katie, who would get close to not being fed everyday. Times were tough and Katie was still young, about 3 years old I would say. Something unexpected happened, and I do not remember what but the family was torn apart. The father and mother went to the country, away from London, away from each other, and little Katie was left on the streets. She was lucky to be found by somebody. Not a loving mother or father that would gladly take her in, oh no, she was the director of the nearby orphanage. A full orphanage to be exact. The lady saw no choice, the police would have brought the child to her sooner or later anyway.
Katie was treated just like any child there, and when she was of eligible age, of about 6, she was sent to work. Not the best childhood to have, not even remembering your own mother's face. It was one she had to struggle through. She didn't struggle alone though. Katie knew that the other children felt her pain, her want to leave the awful place. I guess that is the only reason why she ever wanted to grow up, she only wanted to leave. Her clever little escape attempts would never work. She would dream of flying those nights, hoping to get past the barred windows and fly away to a better place. Only such dreams would never come true.
But there was one day, oh I remember that day very well. One of the windows were broken by the pesky boys that always caused trouble. The director had to fix it, and that meant that she had to take the bars down and call someone to clean up the mess and put in a new window. The work would have been done in about 3 days. Katie was 7 at the time. When she laid eyes on that window, she ran to her room and packed whatever she had into a tiny suitcase that every child had. She ran for that window as fast as her little legs could carry her and jumped out.
I don't exactly remember where she went, but the place was well hidden and the police could never find her. But this is only where our story begins...

Hey hey hey! So I've been watching Peter Pan movies and thought to make my own story. So here it is. Yes Euphoria is such a weird title for this book but it will all make sense in the end, I promise. Also there is a song on the side. It is called Euphoria, it is sang by Loreen who won the Eurovision singing competition in 2012 and it reminds me so much of Peter Pan. So yeah. Vote if you like. Comment on whatever. Till the next chapter. Bye. :)
