I saw Jet picking at his food. Someone had just called him and then he said he needed to go to the bathroom. When he came back he was frowning.

"J-jet.." I started. He didn't look at me.

I got worried.

I communicated him with the mind link since we were in the same pack and we have completed 50% of the mating process, i just need to give in my V-card and marriage, then im fully his.

Are you okay..I mean like..I I babbled

Babe ! It's not your fault, it just that our pack got an offer. He chuckled amused. I forked my salad and took a munch of the crispy green lettuce.

Oh, what is it ? I asked slighty concerned about this 'offer'

He looked away. I saw William coming back with our bill. Jet whipped out his leather wallet and whiffed a few $20 out.

William glanced my way slightly unimpressed?

Well it wasn't MY fault i had to run away.

It wasn't MY fault my mate rejected me.

It wasn't MY fault that i found a better person to replace him.

"Welcome to the Snow Pack meeting." Boomed Cody.

Everyone continued talking and whispering. I shared a look with Jet. He gave me a hesitant look and ressuring one.

"SILENCE." Snapped Cody in Authority. And impressively everyone's lips were sealed.

"Thank you. My Beta Jethaniel has recieved some...news. Please give your attention to him." Cody said.

He gave a curt nod to Jet who stood up awkwardly as people clapped, i smiled at him.

"Today i recieved a phone call from the Lennox pack in New York. They have some sad news because all the men with mates, their female mates were kidnapped by the Dark Moon pack in the Under World. I am assuming we all know the Dark Moon pack?"

Cody asked. Every nodded, saddened.

"Good. And So because apparently the Lennox pack have tried many times to defeat them, it had never happened. So since we have beaten many of them they have asked us personaly to train them , teach them to be stronger, fight harder, be more confident. And i couldn't back down from a fight against the Dark Moon Pack due to the fact that they have scarred my life by torturing my...my 3-year old sister having no mercy before my eyes, So i accepted."

Protests happened. I stayed silent.

"Now if you please, volonteer to sign up if you want in Alpha Cody's office. Thank You."

Cody rushed back to his seat. I gave him a smile, Wait a minute..Lennox Pack...New York

My smile faultered when i screeched

"WHAT."

"No!" I yelled.

Cody pouted

"COME ON! You're our best fighter!" He whined.

Jet came in and jumped in.

"Do it for Alana..and Me." He pleaded. I scowled at him. Is he really using the Alana card!

Alana was Jet's 3-year old sister. One day i was eating dinner with Jet's family then we all noticed there was a different scent in the house. Alana was running arounf around the house. We suddey heard her scream. A loud, clear and frigtened one.
