Chapter 17 - I got Rejected by an Alpha

I don't think i've ever felt more out of place and loved at the same time before. As soon as Jet, Zach and Kate were seen, a large group came running towards us and screamed that "they're home". Zach went off of my back and was hugged by a woman, who i assumed was his mother. The woman looked at me and put her hand on the top of my head and brushed my fur, i didnt know how to react so i just stayed still. Confusion was written on her face and Zach put his hand on his mother and whispered something. He went to the middle of his pack. 

"Everyone! Can i have your attention please? As you all know, Beta Jethaniel and I were in search of my mate, Alisonette. We found her brainwashed and in Silver's pack." He explained, and people gasped wide-eyed as i shifted uncomortably as everyone turned to me. I looked away. "Jethaniel and I were tortured for a few hours, but it felt like days. They used wolfsbane and Silvain on us and also tortured our minds. I'm not sure how or who did it, but i do think that Scarlet has something to do with this." He said seriously, earning scowls and growls around him. 

Kate came up behind me with a small smile, she had shifted to her human form and was holdingclothes out for me. I grabbed it with my mouth and headed behind the treesto get changed. I shut my eyes as i shifted to my human form and put on a bra, panties, the skinny jeans and white halter top. I flipped my hair back and brushed my fingers through my hair to make it less messy and knotty. I sighed and stood up, walking towards Kate slowly as everyone looked up at me with wide eyes. "Alison.." I heard people whisper. 

I hated not knowing everyone here, it made me feel bad. What i didnt want to face was my family, if i had any. I did know that i had a brother, but Silver had said that he would help people bully me before, but im not sure what to believe at this point. I stayed close to Kate, who was talking to someone. I fiddled with my fingers, no longer feeling as powerful as i did when i was with Silver's pack, now i felt like a lost little girl that didn't know what the hell was going on. I sighed and leant against a tree, confused as ever as Zach and Jethaniel spoke to the pack. 

"Ali?" A guy said hesitantly, i glanced up and looked at him with wide eyes and panicked, oh god, i didnt know him, what do i do? "I know you don't remember me. I'm Drake Grey. Your older brother." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. I blinked in shock."Oh. Hey, Drake." I said awkwardly with a half smile. He sighed. "Look, i dont want to take advantage of your brainwash, but i do want to start over our relationship. So, if you want to...do you mind if we start over? It would mean a lot to me." He said quietly. My heart broke for this poor guy. I chuckled at him. "Well i don't have a choice to start over, now do i?" I teased. "But yeah, of course." I agreed with a smile. He grinned and hugged me. "Good, because i was going out of my freaking mind when you left. So was Stacey! God she was crying every night!" He laughed shaking his head, and turning his head back as as a short redhead came over cautiously.

"Stacey?" I asked Drake. Looks like i'm going to have to meet every member of my pack again.Yay. Drake looked at the short girl with a loving smile. Clearly this was his mate. "Yeah, Stacey. She was your best friend before you left." He said softly. Oh. Well now, i dont know what to do, since i don't have any memory of my own best friend. Stacey walked towards me and stood next to Drake. My eyes immediately went to her stomach. She was pregnant. I didn't have memory of this girl but my body started bubbling in excitement. "Oh my god! You're pregnant!" I squealed, much to her surprise. She grinned and her eyes sparkled. "Yeah, a year can change many things." She chuckled as Drake pressed his lips to her forehead. I nodded. "It sure does." I agreed. Yeah like getting rejected, brainwashed and falling in love then finding out that i was under a spell. 

"Congratulations to you both, though." I added with a genuine smile and hugged Stacey. She laughed. "Thankyou Ali. I missed you so much. We have to catch up soon...when Drake isnt on my back 24/7." She said with a roll of her eyes and winked at me. Drake scowled and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I'm not as bad as Cody though!" He huffed. "Bailey isn't even allowed to go out of the pack house without him." He laughed, and Stacey rolled her eyes. "I'd hate to be an Alpha's mate." She laughed, then looked at me and smirked. "Good luck!" She grinned and gave me one last hug before Zach started to walk towards me. My eyes stared at his and i was a goner, why did i have to lose my memory? Why did i have to recklessly run off? Why did i have to be sto damn stupid to leave a guy like Zach, who literally went through hell to find me. With another man.

"Hey." I said softly with a small smile, he gave me a dimpled smile, but his eyes didn't look that 'happy'. I felt a pang of guilt in my chest, thinking of how he was feeling at the moment, he went through a lot in one day. I felt so bad for him for going through that crap for someone like me. He sighed. "Hey beautiful." And stood next to me, i felt uncomfortable, i felt the need to have his arms around me, i gritted my teeth and held in my temptations. God, if having a mate– hold on a second. I was mated to Dimitri. 

My eyes widened and my hand immediately went to my neck where Dimitri's mark bared. I felt like crying now. "Mother fucker!" I hissed at the same time Zach growled, his eyes dark. Clearly his wolf didnt like the fact that i was marked to another man and that i was touching it. I quickly pulled my hand away and let out a soft hiss."I can't believe he marked me!" I cried, holding in tears. I may not have had memories with Zach, but i knew that i'd rather be mated with my real mate than fake out, even if i did have fake feelings for Dimitri, why would he mate me if he had a mate already, somewhere in the world?
