Instead of Sonic I think that Monkey Khan is a better fit for Sally. In one of the comics Sally shows that she would rather have someone who can actually settle down and become king with her. Monkey Khan is already a prince so he would probably be a better suit for her than sonic because he also is heroic and brave and is up for any challenge but can still rule with her.
