Y/N POV

You have been married to Edward for a long time, close to 5 years now and you want to take it to the next level with him. You know he is the one for you and he says the same thing to you all the time. You wonder if thats the case, then why hasn't you guys had a family yet? You feel as if you both are committed enough to each other and you both frequently talk about how you want to have a family someday so why not now? You kept thinking about this until Edward asked you what's wrong.

"Oh its nothing Ed," You said looking at the ground.

Edward took his left hand and lifted your face so he could see it better. "Look at me y/n. Whats wrong? I can tell when there is something troubling you.''

''Well I was thinking, how come we haven't had kids yet? We seem ready for the responsibilities it always seems to carry, we 'cuddle' a few times here and there but it just doesn't seem to be happening..."

Edward turned the other way, avoiding eye contact with you. You suspect something's up so now you're the one that's asking Edward what wrong.

"Y/N... I've been meaning to tell you this but either I've never got the chance or I was too afraid to tell you..."

"Don't worry, I will understand completely." You say sincerely. Edward looked you in the eyes and you can tell it was bad news he was gonna tell you.

"I can't have children."

You just sat there, shocked at what you're husband just told you. You knew that something was up but not in the way that you just experienced at that moment. 'How did this even happen?'

"Im sorry that I didn't tell you sooner but I just couldn't." Edward sat there, crying in his hands. You comforted him till he was able to talk again.

"Sorry its just I didn't know how you would react." he sniffled.

''Its alright Ed, its just that how did this even happen? Were you born with it it? Was it an injury?'' You were starting to wonder if it was related to what happened to his arm and leg.

''Well, when I was around 16, I was playing soccer and somebody accidentally kicked the ball down in the 'you know what' area and it started to hurt really bad. When I checked and looked, there was blood all over my thighs. I went to the ER and the doctor told me that I needed surgery to fix my area but there was a really high chance that I wouldn't be able to produce kids ever if I followed through with it. I ended up getting the surgery and paying the price afterwards in life.''

''What was the percentage?''

''98.6%...''

You looked at Edward and took it all in. There was a very low to little chance of you having kids with the person you love the most... As much as that hurt you, you weren't going to let that stop you from having a wonderful life together with Edward.

''You know, 1.4% isn't that bad of a chance.'' You say, getting closer to Edward.

''Oh really?'' Edward says, questioning you.

You jump on top of him and whisper in his ear. ''Yep.''

He flips you over so now hes on top. He leans closer to you and seductively says in a deep voice, ''Well, lets see about that.''

A day before Valentines Day

You got up from bed and saw your husband sleeping on the bed, all splattered out on their bed like a messed up painting. You go downstairs and make yourself a cup of coffee, considering you need it when you wake up on a weekday. You still have to get gifts for the two of them for Valentines day. Its around 7:30 a.m so nobody is up except you.

You walk back upstairs to your room once you're done with your coffee to get dressed for work when you notice your daughter moving in her crib as she slept. You walk towards the crib and carefully pick her up, praying that she wont wake up. You kiss her forehead and just stare at her beautiful, porcelain face.

'I finally got what I always wanted.'
