One Shot #5: Kirito x Shino

A/N: I intended for this one shot to be the saddest one out of all of them..

Valentines Day

Shinos POV

Shino knocked on Kiritos bedroom door. No response. 

''Um hey Kirito, I overreacted yesterday so I hope we can go past that and move-.'' She opened the door, her gift to him in hands.  

She looked at the horrifying sight in front of her.

''no no no NO NOO NOOO!''

Yesterday Morning

''We shouldn't go to Asunas party tonight.'' Shino firmly said to Kirito.

Both Kirito and Shino were walking down the street, discussing about Asunas invitation to her party later on that day. Kirito looked over at Shino.

''Dont worry Shino, we will be there for a little while and then well leave on your cue , is that all right with you?''

''I just dont trust her.'' Shino thought back to the multiple times where Asuna tried to get with Kirito behind her back and finding out later on. Asuna is just a sneaky, dirty little...

Kirito grabbed her hand and squeezed it. ''I know what you think about her and to be honest, I dont  trust her either. We wont be there long and god knows what will happen if I dont show up.''

She glared at him but he just laughed to himself. ''Lets not focus on that now, lets go shopping so we can look good when we get there!'' Shino ran while firmly holding Kiritos hand so he wont let go. They both ran down a few blocks and ended up near a a bunch of gigantic department stores. Standing still where they were, they both turned to look at each other and smiled.

''Lets go!''

Later that day...

Kiritos POV

Both Shino and  Kirito spent most of the day shopping for new clothes and accessories. Once they were done, they went back to Shinos house to change into their new clothes. Shino went to her room to change and Kirito used the bathroom. When Kirito was done changing, he knocked on Shinos door.

''Hey, are you done yet Shino?'' Kirito looked at his watch to see what time it was. It was 8:47 p.m and the party started at 9:00 p.m so they had to get there in less than 13 minutes. Wait, why should he care?

''Ill be out in a minute.'' Shino said through the door.

Kirito walked to the living room and sat down on the couch. He waited about a minute or 2 till he heard a door open (he was guessing it was Shinos door of course) and saw Shino wearing a classic dark blue dress up to her knees with a short black leather jacket and with heels that probably made her 5 inches taller. And makeup?! This was the first time he ever saw her dressed up like this.

''You look pretty, no, beautiful,'' he said, looking up and down at her.

Shino blushed slightly. ''Thanks. We should get going now if we want to make it to the party on time.'' She started walking to the door but as soon as she turned the knob, Kirito spun her around and passionately kissed her.. on the lips! That was the first time that they ever kissed on the lips, considering they only been officially together for a short time. Kirito went in for more but Shino had stopped him.

''Maybe later...'' She said smirking.

They both walked out the door and started walking to Asunas house, it took around 20 minutes to get there so they were of course late. They didn't care. Before they rang Asunas doorbell, Kirito looked at Shino.
