The elemental horses

Chapter 1

just to be clear, one big moon is one month, two big moons are two months, 3 big moons are three months, and ..... you get the picture. I think.oh! And also, the same as my other story that you probably haven't read and probably never will read, moons are days

one big moon later:

" Mama! Mama! I'm flying!" I cried out to my mother. Eagle feather had taught me how to with some of the younger foals. I am already a big moon old, and mama says when i turn three big moons old, we will have to leave and join another herd. As I slowly flew past FlameHoof , he gave a grunt of hatred.I ignored him and kept flying around. I flew through a cloud, and the cold little water droplets helped cool me off on this hot day.  I slowly got faster and faster, higher and higher, and finally made an attempt to make a dive that no other foal would try until they are six big moons old. So I tucked my wings in right after diving. I felt the wind brush through my fur,and all I saw was the earth that I was plummeting to. About five feet from the ground, I spread my wings and landed casually as if I had never done what I had just done, folding my wings close to my body. I got stare all around, and some of the mares and stallions were whispering to each other, while the colts and fillies were just staring in amazement. I just galloped away to find eagle feather. I found her grazing by the stream, where two water element horses were playing in the crystal clear water. I greeted them, then decided. To talk to eagle feather. " Eagle?" " yes?" The old mare asked. " am I an element horse? Mother isn't, and she doesn't have wings, but I am two big moons away from being old enough to knowing I I am or not, but I have wings, my mother doesn't, my father doesn't either, but I do." Eagle Feather thought for a few minutes, then replied, " I don't know, maybe you are, maybe you aren't, you'll know in time" " but I wanna know now!" Eagle just chuckled, and we continued to talk until sundown.

two big moons later:

birds were chirping, I could smell all the flowers, and the warmth on my back told me the sun was out and shining. I opened my eyes and galloped to the lake. I drank some of the sweet, cool water, then raised my head and looked at myself.i turned one way, then the other, and i opened my wings. I was observing myself, today was the day that I would find out if I was an elemental horse, and I was. Normal horses don't just change color overnight! I was black as the night sky, with a small cloud on my face and a bigger cloud on one of my wings. I walked to the rest of the herd. When he saw me, Torch gasped and neighed loudly, " Elemental horses! The new Shadow element horse has finally arrived!" My mom ran up to me and told me my new name was Storm Cloud. Before it was just Cloud.Suddenly a plant elemental screamed, " HUMANS!Humans are coming! Everyone hide!" Horses scattered, wind elementals hiding in the clouds, plant elementals flying into the trees, and several others going to the back of our cave. The only who remained were Sunflower( light\lightning),my mom, pine( snow), and me.I saw the humans with strange objects " they have guns!" Whispered mother.they raised the guns and I heard a loud sound, and then Sunflower neighed in pain, then crashed to the ground. I ran over to her. She wasn't breathing. They had killed her. Then I heard the sound agian. This time, my mother was the one who got killed. Keeping my wings glued to my back, I ran.faster and faster, farther and farther, until I finally stopped and found an empty cave. I made a large bed of ferns at the back of the cave, then plopped onto it and fell fast asleep.
