I sat in silence where everyone else was chatting about the current situation.I held my sister closer as we hit bumps along the road.I rubbed her arm a little and placed my forehead against hers.

Suddenly,she mumbled and started waking up."Donnie! She's waking up," I said.Everyone,except Casey because he was driving,turned their heads to us.

I moaned in pain.Everything hurts.A lot.I opened my eyes to the one's of my brother.He pulled me into a hug and cried.I winced at the movement.

"Ciper,be careful,remember.We don't want to irritate her burns more." said Donnie.He loosened up his grip a little and sobbed.I painfully brought my arms around his body,squeezing him with the little strength I had.

Then,I remembered what I did.I let go of him and scooted into a corner away from every else."Orph,look I'm sorry that I lost you-" I cut him off in the middle of his sentence.

"No..." I said in a raspy voice,

"Ran away...looked like..monster...didn't want..to hurt...you," I said,skipping a few words.

His eyes widened."You ran away!?!?" He said.I flinched under his voice."Orph,you didn't need to run away.If something was bothering you you could have told us." He said.

I put my head in between my knees in guilt."..Sorry..." I rasped.He crossed his legs and sighed."Y'Know you can't run away from your problems," Said Mikey,"They'll catch up to you somehow."

Everyone looked at Mikey with shocked faces."Did Mikey just say something that actually made sense?" Raph asked.

"Well this wasn't the first time," said Leo.

"Yeah,but it still creeps me out,"

"Hey! I can be as smart as all of ya's brains put together." Mikey said,irritated.

Leo and Raph laughed secretly to each other.Donnie spoke with April."So..What now?" Casey asked."Well we can live in my family's farmhouse.It's been abandoned for I don't know how long." said April

"Well,now we have a place to regain our strength.But what about Leo," Raph said as he looked to an unconcious Leo."I can make some mutagenic medicine to help him heal,but I'm gonna need the right materials." Said Donnie.

"Well,I do have some things you might need in the barn.You can use that.." "Thanks April."

I looked down to the old necklace I had worn this entire time.I grabbed it and opened it.The little picture of me as a baby appeared,but right next to it was a photograph of Me,Ciper,the turtles,Karai,and Master Splinter in a group photo.

I smiled slightly and looked up at the gang.Maybe,this trip will do more that rest us for the next battle..

I just know it...
