It had been an exhausting lesson so when the bell went Jody scrambled to gather all her notes together. It dawned on her that everyone had gone, coming to terms with the fact that everyone had deserted her to face the wrath of the Ice Queen she concluded it would be easier to get it over and done with. She reluctantly looked up to see Mrs frost stood with a solum expression, walking over to Jody she opened her mouth to give one of her well known patronising talks.
"This really isn't good enough, you must make more effort with your school work. Your marks have dropped drastically."
She was in full flow so when Sammy burst through the door she glared at him and told him to wait outside. Using a softer tone she said
" I'll let you go now but just so you know, I offer tutoring sessions every Tuesday and feel you could really benefit from them."
Jody thanked her and awkwardly left, Sammy was waiting outside for his best mate.
" What did the ice queen want?" Acquired Sammy.
"She was just nagging me as usual" sighed Jody.
"Ah well never mind, it's Jimmy's birthday today and he's throwing a massive bash. He invited me and said I could bring a plus one... There'll be cake" tempted Sammy.
She quite fancied the idea of letting loose for a bit and forgetting about the stresses of school.
"Alright fine...just so you're not all alone" Smirked Jody, skipping along next to Sammy.
