The door was wide open, it was just a plain office. Excluding the fact that the walls are red with yellow stripes. The desk was complete clutter. An empty red spinny chair stood behind the desk. Papers covered the entire top of the desk with files, a stapler, yellow ticket rolls, and a desktop.

Temperance walked towards the desk and slammed a red button on the wall. I slowly walked to the empty chair in front of the desk, the chair seemed to be green.

"Master Marche will be here to assist you. And again, we're not friends, we are family," clarified Temperance and she walked out of the room, shutting the door loudly.

I was left alone in a cluttered room.  Finally, a man magically appeared in the red spinny chair. My heart stopped from so much mystery in a day, but a man teleporting magically? That is way too bizarre for my taste.

"Hello sir, you must be Nicklauseo Lacrimosa! Pleasure to finally meet you! My name is Camille!" told the man with great enthusiasm.

"Umm.... I thought I was supposed to be meeting-" I tried to ask, but once again, interrupted.

"I know! Master Marche put me in charge. She is currently at an important meeting in the underworld! " cheerfully informed Camille.

I nodded trying to lift a smile on my face. "So Nicklauseo Lacrimosa, before we begin anything else you need to take a test!" again cheered Camille.

"Umm.... Niko is fine."

"Niko? So your not Nicklauseo Lacrimosa?"

"No, I am but.... but people call me Niko...."

"Okay Niko! Your test is right here..." Than Camille started searching for files in his cluttered mess.

"HA! Found it!" he shouted lifting a piece of paper in the air full of pride.

Camille handed me the paper with a prideful smile. I gently took the paper out of his hands and glanced at it.

The questions it asked were...

Name?

What dimension did you come from?

What galaxy did you come from?

What planet did you come from?

Species?

Than the list goes on and on about useless questions.

"So I just answer these questions? Is that..... it?" I asked feeling a bit of relief.

Camille nodded with a smile almost bigger than his own rounded face.

"Go outside and a girl will lead you to your room!" He ordered.

I get my own room? Sweet! "Thank you...sir," I used my manners, and than walked out the door with the paper and a pen I grabbed in my hands.

Finally, once I walked outside the room, Temperance was waiting outside the door.

"Did he give you the treatment?" she asked leaning against the wall with her feet crossed and a little smirk smacked on her face.

"No, he gave like..... like this paper test thingy," I replied feeling a rise of fear about 'the treatment.' However, I didn't bother to ask. Not yet at least.

"Camille wanted me to...... or want you to lead me to my room," I told her.

"You don't tell me what to do. And I assume Camille is filling in for Master Marche?" spat Temperance with an annoyed tone.

I nodded. She started to walk down the red and yellow striped hallways, trying to say 'follow me' without a word.

We finally stopped at another door, I would be lost without this woman. She opened it to show an empty room with two beds.

"There is no way that anyone, besides Master Marche herself, is able to have a room to themselves. So, enjoy your stay. I'll be in my dorm if you need me," stated Temperance, as I still wondered how she could see with a blindfold over her eyes.

She left the dorm and I looked around.

The room had two beds on either side. One side was empty and plain and boring. Maybe it was a little dusty. The other side had bars, no blankets on the bed, and a wooden desk next to the bed with no chair.

Who is my roommate now?

Than I remembered Ryan. I missed his warm hugs, his bright smile, his calming voice, his bouncy blonde hair. I sat on my bed after I shut the door, I wanted to fall into tears.

Oh wait! I could call him! I reached my hand into my pocket and than-

"Who are you? Aren't you that Nicklauseo Lacrimosa who hates his name so he goes by Niko?" asked a strange woman who was hanging on the ceiling.

I admittedly looked up and saw her. Her eyes where pitch black eith shine, just like a dogs. She had short brown hair with an orange streak on her side bangs. The side of her eyes were a painted orange design that sparkled. Her outfit was a leotard that was orange with long sleeves and an orange torso. She had long legs that let her climb all over the place. I than spotted a tail  coming out of her lower back. The tail was brown, like an acorn, and her tone of voice was...... annoying.

"Um..... if that's what you think than... yes?" I replied questioning her tail. Than as she turned around while climbing down onto her bed, I noticed red wings that are closed up on her spine.

"Are you like, a clown or something?" asked the woman who than crawled to a bar and started stretching on it.

"I... I don't know yet.... and your a.....what are they called again?" I asked hoping not to be rude.

"An acrobat. Did I look like some kind of clown to you? Only those who can't do anything are clowns," she replied still paying more attention to her moves than me.

"Oh. So... what is your name?" I asked feeling very shy.

"That's a rude question. My name is Dawnie Valse," she stated.

"Sorry..." I muttered.

She than leaped out the room and shut the door. I was once again, alone. Now was my chance, my chance to call Ryan.
