I headed to Class and almost everyone was sitting at their tables. I sat down and waited for Karima to arrive. As she finally arrived the Teacher walked in right after her.
"Hey Jen." she said and sat down next to me. "Hey Kari, I thought you weren't going to show up to School today." I said. "I'm sorry. The bus was late." she said quietly so the Teacher wouldn't notice us talking. The Day went by slowly and I was happy as I was finally able to go home. At Lunch I called Carlos and told him that he didn't need to pick me up. As School was over I said Bye to Karima and headed home. The walk home will take a while but I don't care I just want some time alone right now. I was almost home as someone called my Name. I turned around and spotted Luke. I rolled my eyes and continued to walk home. He suddenly was walking next to me.
"Leave me alone."I said not looking at him. "But I wanna talk to you." he said. "No, just leave. I don't wanna hear your crap." I snapped. I know I wasn't being nice to him right now but he deserves it after the shit he said about me.
I walked up to my house and was about to go inside as i heard him say something I never expected him to say.
"I'm sorry." he said. I stopped and turned towards him. "I don't believe you." I said. "I really mean it. Trust me, I know what I said about you was rude and I really wanna apologize. I was being a jerk." he said. "Stop lying." I said. "Jenny, believe me." he said. "But I don't. Just go away." I said and grabbed my keys and unlocked the door. "I'll proof you that I'm sorry." he said. "And how?" I asked. "Let me take you out on a Date." he said looking at me. At first I thought that he wasn't serious but the look he was giving me showed me that he was really being honest right now.
"No." I said. "Please think about it. I really am sorry and I wanna get to know you." he said. I sighed. "Okay...I will think about it." I said and went inside without saying another word to him. I hope he isn't lying.
I went to the Kitchen and saw that Carlos was already preparing Dinner. "Hey Sweetheart." he said "How was School?" "Hey. School was okay. Same shit as always." I said. "Watch your language." Carlos said and looked at me. "Sorry." I said. We talked for a few more minutes and then I went to my room. I sat down on my bed thinking about my Conversation with Luke earlier. Was he really being serious. What if he's just playing with me. I don't know if I can trust him. I sighed and laid down. I grabbed my Phone and decided to message Adam.
"Hey Adam, sorry that I didn't text you yesterday but I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. We should meet up again soon. - Jenny"
Around a minute later my Phone buzzed and I saw that Adam messaged me.
"Hey, I was kinda worried that you didn't text me yesterday. Yes, we should meet again soon. When do you have time to meet? - Adam x"
"What about tomorrow after School? - Jenny"
"Sounds good. I have to pick up my Son and drive him to the Gym so I could also pick you up. What School do you go to? - Adam x"
What? He has a Son. That means he's a lot older than I thought.
"I'm going to Los Angeles High School. My Classes end at 3:30pm tomorrow. -Jenny"
"Great. My Son goes to that School too. So it's settled then. I'll see you tomorrow. - Adam x"
I read his text and put my Phone away. I'm kinda shocked to know that he has a Son. What if he's married? Why am I even thinking about that. I mean he is just a friend.
Next Day
I woke up and saw that I was late for School. Great. I rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I got dressed and blow dried my hair as quickly as I could. I put on some Eyeliner and Mascara since I didn't have time for more. I grabbed my Bag and rushed downstairs. "Good Morning." Kendall said. "Morning." I said "Can you drive me to School. I'm late." "Of course. Come on." he said. We rushed to his Car and he drove to School as fast as he could. As we arrived I thanked him and ran inside the Building. I luckily made it to Class in time.
The Day went by pretty quick and before I knew it School was over. I went to the parking lot and saw Adam standing next to his Car. As I walked up to him I saw a Boy with dark brown hair standing next to him.
"Hey Adam." I said as I reached them. "Hey Jenny. It's nice to see you again. This is my Son." Adam said and looked at him. As I looked at the Boy that was standing next to Adam I couldn't believe my eyes.
Luke is Adams Son?!
